Amazing cakes!

A couple of months ago I ordered a birthday cake and when I went to pick it up I felt like getting one dark chocolate mousse tart, which was pretty good. However the birthday cake was extremely sweet and nothing was special about it. Also, it was quite expensive considering the size of the cake and compared to other places.

La Rocca Créative Kitchen is our favourite treat place! My son and I love it! It’s a joy to be there’ the staff is the best! The patisserie chef is amazing! Everything is always fresh, balanced and delicious! My son loves the cupcakes, cake pops I love the cookies and the mini key lime tart! Heading back soon for more treats! Thank you!

Everything I’ve tried at this establishment has been exceptionally good, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The standout dish for me was the banoffee pie; it is truly a must-try for anyone visiting. The dessert's combination of creamy banana, rich toffee, and a perfectly crumbly crust made it an unforgettable treat. Additionally, the team here is incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. Furthermore, the location of the restaurant is fantastic, making it convenient to visit and enjoy a meal. Overall, it’s a delightful place worth returning to.

My family had the deep dish apple crumble for Thanksgiving dinner and it was absolutely delicious. The only small suggestion I have is that it might be helpful to include something underneath the pie to make transferring it to the oven a bit easier. It stuck slightly to the box but that did not take away from how much we enjoyed it.

I’ve been a loyal customer of La Rocca Bakery for years and have always enjoyed their cakes, but I was really disappointed this time. I purchased the carrot cake, which was listed as having cream cheese frosting — however, it was clearly buttercream instead. The flavor and texture just weren’t what I expected. Carrot cake is always meant to have cream cheese frosting, so this was really disappointing. I hope the bakery reviews their labeling to ensure customers know exactly what they’re getting.

BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL BLACK FOREST CAKE PLEASE

I've been buying la rocca cakes for years and for the most part have been happy with them but it's sad to the see the size and quality of their cakes go downhill now. I'd be more willing to pay a higher price for the better quality and size than what they're now selling.

The place is great, staff is very friendly. I've had their cakes before and they're delicious.

However I had a bad experience, it was due to an understandable and unforeseeable mistake but still I think I should make it known.

I bought two cakes this morning, they got both put in boxes and then in a paper bag. While carrying the cakes back, less than one block from the store, one of the handles of the bag snapped loose and the boxes fell on the floor. I had to go back to pick up another bag, and when I came home one of the cakes was squished on one side, which is very unfortunate. Again, I don't think anyone could foresee this but maybe they should check with their paper bag supplier, or do a quick check of the stability of the handles when they get the paper bags in bulk or something.
