My friend and I had a great experience, we were both very pleased. The service was excellent - friendly and attentive. Cozy and classy interior, I loved the vibe. The women's washroom could have been cleaner, and I bumped my head twice on a light fixture that hung too low by our table. We had the arugula salad, a pesto pizza and a cream pasta - all of which were delicious. Also wine and margaritas. Decent portions and prices. Overall, it's a great spot and I would definitely go again.

My wife brought our family here after she read good reviews from our local Beach Metro Magazine.
To start, the host was very kind and easy going. We had the place all to ourselves as we arrived early on a Saturday late afternoon.
He made some menu suggestions . We ordered butternut raviol, lasagna, a chicken Milanese, a salmon and a Caesar Salad and an arugula salad. Some wine a sangria and some ginger ale for the kids.
In short we had a great meal, a couple of highlights: I’m from Baja California where Ceasar Salad was first created, I have to say in only a few places in Toronto have a tired a salad close to the original one. This is one of those places. Ask for the anchovies when you order it.
Salmon had a great crust with Italian seasoning. Butternut squash ravioli, lasagna and chicken parmigiana were on point.
As my son eats a lot we order an extra pizza (meats).
For dessert we had chocolate cake, mango panna cota, we got some raspberry chocolate ice cream on the house.
I have to say I was surprised to have such a great meal!
I will make this place now a regular place to come with the family.

This spot is so cozy! We stumbled upon it and ended up loving the vibe. Food was well prepared and delicious. Very fair prices, too! Hamim was such a friendly face, so welcoming and honest with his service. Will revisit and highly recommend this gem!

Went for dinner before a show playing at History. Was close enough for walking distance and the food was perfect. The owner was attentive and gave menu recommendations that did not disappoint. Hidden local gem. Definitely recommend.

Small , quaint and very relaxing atmosphere. The food was very good with excellent portions. The grilled calamari on a bed of grilled kale was to die for. Went in for lunch and will have enough for dinner
The blues being played in the background was the icing on the cake.

The food, service and atmosphere is everything you could want and more. The menu is extensive and everything we ate was incredible.
Had brunch at La Sala with my sisters. Interesting and tasty brunch choices with gluten free bread available along with other gluten free choices. The non gluten free options were many and varied. I had eggs Florentine. A sister had the Mexican Hash and said it was good. Fast and friendly service and they take reservations for brunch, a rare and welcome feature.

La Sala is a gem hidden in the Beaches.
Intimate environment. We have come here for dinner several times and the food has always been delicious. Just tried their brunch menu and it was yummy! They have an in-house hot chili oil that is amazing! Great coffee too. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Feels like family.. Highly recommend!

We really like the promotion Mon_Wed 4 courses for $29. Nice atmosphere, great music, great food. I will definitely come back there. They serve bread and butter before they serve the main course, just i wish the bread was warm. Otherwise all was good 👍 .
This restaurant is so amazing! I can't say enough great things about their food and their staff! After an amazing dinner one night, we loved it so much, we got take out from there the next night (different dishes)! Ready on time, still nice and hot and just as amazing as the first time! Bravo!

Went here a few years ago and enjoyed my experience. My most recent visit was completely disappointing. The food was terrible, the salad was two handfuls of arugula, 3 cherry tomatoes cut and half and a separate plate of goat cheese. No salt, no flavor, no love or thought behind it. My husband’s Nonna would have cried at the sight of what was being called a risotto. It wasn’t even made with the correct rice, it was watery and looked terrible - we sent it back without tasting it, that’s how bad looked. The steak was drowned in sauce to camouflage the bad cut of meat.
The waitresses were very nice and thankfully the food wasn’t expensive.
We will not be going back, and if you’re looking for Italian food I do not recommend this restaurant.

Wow!! Great Italian food and friendly host and a mid week 4 course meal special to die for. $29 for wine, salad, main course and dessert. A perfect patio. Just off of the busy street traffic. What a treat!!!
