Went initially for tacos at Al Chile, ended up getting a tamale as well, and SOOO glad we did. I dream of my chicken tamales there, and the service was so friendly and welcoming too! Can’t wait to come back

It’s a not-so-hidden, yet a bit hidden gem at St.Clair and Dufferin, literally a quick hop and jump away from my office and I found it only recently.
As soon as I enter here, I feel like I have entered a South American food festival. The ambience, the food, the music, the decor. Everything puts me in such a good mood!
I love their tacos and their fruity drinks, “pura vida” being my all time favourite 🍹
And so light on pocket! Price point is a1!!

The food amazing, service was impeccable - the staff were so sweet and proud, the atmosphere was like a quaint little street market off the beaten track. Not a huge place but a great vibe!

They made me drive from far away and when I arrived they told me they were closed even though their Google Maps schedule says they close at 10.

Got some takeout Costa Rican food. The restaurant contains 3 seperate kitchens. Mexican, Costa Rican, Colombian street food, you order your food from the kitchen of choice, pay and then you can eat food at a table, or take it to go. I got the Arroz con Pollo, and although a bit pricey, it was enough for multiple meals for me.

Amazing selection of food, they've got something for everybody here! This place is considered a food court because there's 4-5 different shops within and each one of them so good! I especially love the chicken tamales from the Mexicans in the back of the shop 😍
Plus the place is such a vibe and love the Latin music they play (usually reggaeton, my fav) with the music videos playing on the tv 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The lovely lady who served us was super nice! The tacos were delicious 😋 Have to say the carnitas was the best 👌 However, the pastor was wonderful too! Will definitely be coming back to Al Chile. 10/10
Almost forgot to mention the nice fella who brought out the different hot sauces! They were good too!
