Really disappointed at my recent visit to this restaurant. My husband and I have frequented this restaurant many times in the past and the food has generally been good. Our last visit was horrible. The quality of the food has gone down significantly. It tasted as though the chef couldn't figure out the right seasonings, so he made our dishes as spicy as possible... We won't be returning.

This service here is terrible and the food is even worse.. the antipasto WAS LITERALLY 2 price of meat cut in half.. and 2 price of cheese cut in half on top of a pile of spinach .. it looked NOTHING LIKE the photo in the menu and it was 30$.. THEN when we told the server she just stood there for 90 seconds staring at us in disbelief that we actually complained about the insulting portion.. then we served us the bill before we were even done our food and drinks .. I told them “I didn’t ask for this” the whole place was such a joke and EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE.. DONT EVEER EAT HERE

I've been there for lunch and dinner. I've never been disappointed. The menu is extensive and I have never had anything i didn't like. Even ordering for home delivery is a treaty.

Great selection of food even GF options. Great service. We had a member who is visibly impaired and our waitress made sure he was well taken care of navigating and with menu choices. 2 notes. Parking... well, there's spots around but don't expect a spot too close. The other, very old school. 1 bill. Each party member is calculated of the group order manually and pay their separate costs. No separate checks. A bit cumbersome and manual but it works. Overall good atmosphere, good food and service.

The food is okay but the service is terrible. Our waitress didn’t communicate and when we had trouble with the credit card machine she just left the table without talking to us and then a few minutes later another waitress came out to help who was lovely. Sad because it could have been much better

We had the pleasure of dining at La Veranda Osteria tonight and were so pleased with the entire experience that we look forward to going back soon - ourselves, and with friends and family to share this positive experience with. From start to finish, we enjoyed every aspect of our evening. Our main server, Milana, could not have been more attentive or pleasant. In addition to Milana’s outstanding service, there were at least four other servers who were working our table to ensure that we were well looked after throughout the time we were there. We were on the patio surrounded by lovely plants, flowers, and greenery whilst soft music played in the background creating a wonderful ambience. We particularly enjoyed being able to carry on a conversation without being drowned out by too loud music preventing normal conversation. The wine we ordered was great - House red and New Zealand Sauvignon. The food was delicious - we shared a Caesar salad followed by the Spaghettini Pill-Pill (Hot-Hot) and the Lasagna which we thoroughly enjoyed. The servings were generous - we both had leftovers to bring home. We indulged in Creme Brûlée which we shared and considered well worth the calories! Our decision to go to La Veranda tonight ended up being the perfect ending to a great week. We will go back soon. As well, in addition to the positive dining experience, the washrooms get a 10/10 rating - important in our books.

We dined outside our server was Milana she was exceptional and the meal was excellent Spaghettini Pil pil ( hot ) and lasagna house speciality with a shared Caesar salad to start . Service was very friendly and knowledgeable and everything came from the kitchen on time and as recommended . Very good value for a very reasonable price

Wildly inconsistent. Sometimes the lasagna is good, sometimes it is a bowl of soup with overdone, literally burnt (black) noodles. Given the price, not worth the risk.
