I've previously visited Ladurée in New York City and had a truly memorable experience, where everything from the service to the food was flawless. Unfortunately, the food at this location didn't quite live up to the high standards I associate with Ladurée. We ordered the smoked salmon croissant, which my sister enjoyed, though I noticed the croissant lacked the satisfying crunch you expect from a freshly baked one. It was served with a simple balsamic salad that was quite bland and lacked flavor. We also tried a rose pastry, but the cream had an overpowering, artificial taste reminiscent of potpourri, rather than the delicate floral flavor I was hoping for. It was beautifully presented, but the flavor could use some refinement. The service, however, was attentive and consistent, with staff regularly checking in. I also had the Earl Grey tea, which was smooth and enjoyable.

Wheelchair accessibility: There’s no ramp or steps required to get in.

Came to Laduree Paris at Yorkdale Mall for a coffee and desserts after our lunch at RH courtyard restaurant and several window shoppings. The gorgeous pinkish and pale green coloured theme interior and the sumptuous dessert window displays really lure passersby’ attention including me.

We ordered two puff pastries and latte: 1.puff pastry, Choux paste, light pistachio custard cream, pistachio whipped cream $13.50 . A perfect pistachio custard cream was enjoyed by people who love pistachio flavoured everything. However we found the custard cream was not strong enough to satisfy our taste palette.
2. Millefeuille : caramelized puff pastry with vanilla pastry cream $13.50. The Millefeuille pastry was surprisingly crispy and fluffy with a hint of vanilla cream sweetness.

My sister tried the avocado toast a while ago and she said it was much tastier and cheaper as compared with the RH courtyard restaurant. There was only one waitress to serve 6 people in the shop during our visit. She should be able to handle the patrons easily. She was busy making tea or coffee or something else in the kitchen whilst we were waiting patiently for her to give us our bill. Finally we went to pay at the cashier directly. She was still in the kitchen when we left the shop. An invisible waitress.

Overall we found that the coffee and dessert experience was just fine. The small pastries was a bit on the pricey side, however we thought that it is important to achieve a balance between delish food and good service. Thus this could make people’ culinary experience memorable and enjoyable.

The shop is very cute and pretty, and the macarons and pastries are truly delicious, but the service did not live up to its name. The customer service was unfriendly, slow, and not attentive at all.

Their customer service is atrociously subpar. I stood there with an ongoing issue which they were all aware of (I had to return to the store for further support) and they all avoided handling the case, especially the one wearing a blazer which I'd imagine is their line manager. I had to call for her five times otherwise no acknowledgement.

Lady behind the counter was so ignorant and rude. Was just tryna ask her something off the menu and she didn’t even bother looking or responding…only good thing was their chocolate mousse and the coffee macaron.

This is now one of our favorite places. The croissants are just gorgeous! The coffee and macarons are perfect too. I also saw some great brunch ideas and desserts on the menu that look like art. Here, you can feel a small piece of the real Paris atmosphere. The staff is nice and so friendly. If you're here, you must experience this French vibe!

As long-time customers of Ladurée, we are very familiar with their products. Unfortunately, what we tasted this time was extremely disappointing. The cream was curdled, there was no vanilla flavor, the puff pastry of the St. Honoré was undercooked, and there was no pistachio taste at all , whipped cream on top almost split . I immediately called the store to share this issue, but the person I spoke to was not very concerned and just thanked me. It's unbelievable, even the customer service is terrible. Avoid at all costs.

Awful customer service!!! cancelled my BirthdayCake Order

I ordered a cake for my bestie bday, and when I tried to pick up the order at store, the staff told me they cancelled my entire order !!!

The reason was I requested to leave a message on the cake, and they think the message wasn’t appropriate and I don't even receive a call or notice when they cancel my order. But just an email telling me that they were unable to add the message and ask me to change my message .
It is ok if they can’t add the tag but in this situation I think they should at least make me the cake cause I already paid!

Also, When I went to the Yorkdale location the staff told me my order had been cancelled, because I didn’t reply to the email, and asked me to wait at the store for 5 minutes for refund, I waited for a while and leave, cause I was running out of time.

Then I tried to contact them on the phone, but the attitude of the staff is impatient and impolite, she is the same staff that serve me in store.

She questioned me why I was disappeared and not to wait a few more minutes at the store for the refund and told me now I didn’t have to come to the store, she would process the refund later. Her attitude was annoyed and unwelcoming and I was super angry and unsatisfied.

I used to be a big fan of Laduree, but the attitude of the staff at the Yorkdale store and the way the company dealing with this situation is totally unacceptable !!!!
Big disappointment

I recently visited this bakery with high hopes but was thoroughly disappointed. The service attitude was appalling probably the worst I have ever encountered.

I had ordered a cake for my fd birthday, but the shop made a mistake with my order. Instead of rectifying the issue, the staff displayed a shockingly poor attitude towards me as a customer. They were not interested in solving the problem at all. Instead, they repeatedly emphasized, "We will refund you," as if that was a satisfactory solution.

This level of service is completely unreasonable and unacceptable. A simple apology and a genuine effort to fix the mistake would have gone a long way, but unfortunately, this bakery failed on all fronts. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable service or quality customer care.

Worst Experience At This Bakery, The Pastries and Cakes Are Just Normal, Not To Special About Them And The Taste Is Not That Great As Well .

Customer Service Was The Worst Part Of The Experience As It Was Pretty Slow And The Employees Can Be Rude And Unprofessional.

Overall If You Want To Get Good Pastries And Cake Go Some Where Else, I DO NOT Recommend This Bakery To Anyone Wanting To Come Here and Nor Would I Be Return Back Again

Honestly I love their Macarons just for walk-in and order but we made reservations for 7 people ( my cousins bday) and when we got there they did not greet us or offer any water for the table. They immediately told us the price and made us feel u comfortable asking for anything. They wanted to charge us $75 per person and $35 for a 6 year old (who only had coke) We also felt super rushed, we understand the kitchen was closing but we couldn’t even sit down and relax, we left right away after 10 mins bc of the uncomfortable experience. Definitely not coming back.

Absolute worse service I’ve ever received in any establishment. I’ve been treated better just about anywhere. We came later than our group. There’s no greeting, no “can I get you anything to drink” waited 15 mins and finally asked.
Don’t book a group for high tea because they will not give you any sort of service and you won’t feel welcomed or comfortable staying. It’s a bakery with seats, not a sit down restaurant where you’ll be taken care of.
It’s 20 seats max and the service is extremely slow as well.

A little bit on the pricy side but overall a great experience. The Avocado Salmon Toast is amazing as well as the Marie Antoinette Tea. Great for a special occassion.
