A great place for a cozy Brunch! Food and service were amazing. I really enjoyed the bread pudding and my iced latte was phenomenal. The upstairs seating area is super cute and reminds me of a green house due to t and Can’t wait to come back.

A.M. Hash with poached eggs, and add the pulled pork too... Breakfast of champions (or the very hungry)
Pretty good cortado, not the best I've ever had but definitely better than most breakfast places that have it on the menu

Lady Marmalade never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, and comes out fast even when the place is packed. Their eggs bennies and breakfast bowls are delish! The atmosphere is cozy without feeling cramped.
The staff today, and our server, a polite gentleman with glasses, were genuinely warm and attentive without hovering. He checked in at the right moments, and kept things moving smoothly.
Highly recommend this spot if you want great breakfast and great service.

Female server with dark hair was rude and dismissive when I asked for a table of one

Decided to give brunch a try at this little east end Gem. On the outside it’s quite unassuming but just go up the stairs you’ll enter a long high ceiling well lit room with wood paneling. It’s a very tranquil space with lots of natural light.
I was greeted and seated quickly. The diner was packed and abuzz. The service was prompt and efficient. You don’t feel rushed.
I had the BAB Benny. My friend had the Huevos Miga. Both dishes were well presented and tasty. The coffee was quite good too.
Overall a great local gem. I look forward to bringing my other friends to try it.

Absolutely loved this brunch spot. The food was honestly amazing — super fresh, full of flavour, and everything looked so good when it came out. You can tell they really care about what they serve. The atmosphere was also really nice and comfortable, perfect for a relaxed weekend brunch.
Great place to catch up with friends or just enjoy a slow morning. We’ll definitely be going back again!

Nov 2025: 3.5/5.0 rounded down. We visited on a Saturday morning at 9:00am and there was no wait! Nor was there a wait around 10:00am when we left.
We ordered the Crepe Croque Monsieur, Braised Beef Benny, and Cold Pressed Apple Beet Ginger Juice.
The benedict was alright – it was nothing special, at least for me, but I would recommend it if you're craving braised beef for brunch. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly though, and the salad and dressing were nice.
The crepe was also just okay. Would not recommend. It was basic and most of the flavour came from the cheese in the crepe. Though again, the eggs were cooked perfectly.
The juice was great! Really tasty and a great start to the morning, but you can definitely make this at home with a juicer too :)
The staff were all really friendly and nice. The party beside us had dietary restrictions (celiac and lactose intolerant) and the waitress was really thorough in explaining all the different options and alternatives available.
Separate note: they had a plastic container of jam/marmalade sitting on a small corner shelf below waist level, uncovered, which didn't seem very hygienic– especially with people walking back and forth, and with the bathrooms nearby.

Dining out, especially breakfast fare, can be very hit and miss (more the latter) when you have anosmia. I can taste all the five (or is it six now) tastes and that is all. Today was my first visit to Lady Marmalade. It will only be my last of I can never make it back to Toronto. Today I had the Crepe Croque Monsieur and this dish was one of the most delicious I have ever tasted. Every bite, from the crepe to the poached eggs to the blanched spinach to the home fries dipped in their home made ketchup washed down with a black coffee and orange juice (fresh squeezed) Mimosa was simply scrumptious. All my taste buds lit up and I never put down my fork until my plate was empty. I have no idea what magic was inside that crepe but wow! Just wow! From the simple decor to the wonderful staff, this is a gem for sure. Highly recommended.

A small cozy restaurant that has good reasonably priced food. Is been a while since I ate brunch at a place where the price was reasonable and the food was also good. The Moroccan scramble was great, would definitely recommend. We shared the bread pudding and it was so good!
There was a bit of a wait time here like any other brunch places but the line moved fast and the wait was worth it.
Would definitely come again.

We waited for about 25 minutes before getting seated on a Sunday -which is fine, it is clearly a popular place but one expects to have a worthy experience.
We had drip coffee - very tasty. I had the salmon benedict, too salty for my taste but still good!
The issue I had with this place was the table. There is a drastic difference in the atmosphere between the first and second floors. On the first floor, there is no sunlight or view of the street because of the coffee machines, the tables are located towards the back of the space, and just in front of the toilets. It feels claustrophobic. Although I requested to be seated upstairs multiple times, they didn’t really offer a solution.
To summarize: food is good but not extraordinary and considering the wait, it is worth trying only if you are sitting upstairs.
