A Hidden Gem for Brunch!!

I came here with 3 of my girlies that love brunch. Everything we ordered was fresh, light, and absolutely delicious.
We started with some drinks which were super affordable compared to other brunch places. The espresso martinis weren’t too sweet and had the perfect balance.

As for the dishes the standout for me was the smoked salmon toast. The combination of the eggs, fresh dill, and sliced salmon on top of toast was so yummy.

Service was nice and the place was cozy/bright. Highly recommend this spot for a girls’ brunch or casual date.

10/10.
Loved this spot. Not only is it so beautiful inside, but the staff is incredibly friendly and wonderful and the food is delicious. We went in for brunch as a larger group (on a weekend) and it was so nice to find somewhere that took a reservation. I can't believe it wasn't busier in there, BC it should be!!

Had a lot of food and everyone had rave reviews of their meal. The cereal French toast was so fun and yummy (we ordered it for the table). Portions are very generous!! Highly recommend for brunch and hopefully will get to try it for dinner one day

We had the most incredible evening at Ladybug Wine Bar! From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm, vibrant, and unpretentious, exactly the kind of neighbourhood spot our East End needs more of.

For appetizers, we shared the feta kataifi croquettes, which were perfectly crispy on the outside with a rich, creamy center the kind of dish you keep talking about long after it’s gone. The seasonal charcuterie board was both generous and beautifully curated, pairing well with every sip of wine. The star of the night, though, was the Dhaka roast chicken with apple kachumber tender, flavourful, and unlike anything I’ve had at a wine bar before.

We paired everything with a bottle of Grenache Syrah Jean-Paul Cuvee, recommended from their thoughtful selection, and it was absolutely spot-on. I loved that you can actually browse the wine walls yourself it makes the whole experience feel relaxed and approachable rather than intimidating.

The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with great choice of music and a cozy, modern design that invites you to linger. Big thank you to very friendly and super helpful server Dennis! Muyto obrigado and merci beaucoup!
You can tell that Jessica and Charles have poured their heart into creating a place that blends the charm of a London style pub with the sophistication of a wine bar. I only lived for short period of time in London UK but it brought back good memories.

Whether you’re popping in for a casual glass after work, a weekend brunch, or a celebratory night with friends, Ladybug hits the perfect balance between elevated dining and laid-back hospitality. Already looking forward to my next visit! Great addition to our neighborhood.

We had a great time at Ladybug. We left with two bottles of wine.

It is a modern wine bar with a large selection of well chosen wines and an excellent menu to match.

We had curry, prawns, croquettes and creme brulee, All were excellent.

Staff were very friendly and we chose to sit at the bar so had a great chat with the Manager.

Overall a great experience.

My friends and I sat on the patio, which—despite being separate from the main dining area—still had attentive service. It’s a cute space with chill vibes, perfect for a relaxed evening.

We started with the Sweet Potato Chaat and the Croquettes—both were delicious. I usually avoid fried foods, but the jam with the croquettes added a tangy contrast that really worked. The Baked Camembert and Dhaka Roast Chicken with Apple Kachumber were also excellent. The Jackfruit Masala Curry was less to my taste, but that might just be because I’m not a big fan of green curry. The naan that came with it was very fresh and soft though!

I also had a flight of wine—an orange, a white, and a sparkling—all perfect for a summer evening. Normally they serve four, but they were offering three during my visit.

After reading more reviews, I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more dishes!

Came here for dinner on a rainy Friday night and it was so cozy. The food was excellent and the server gave us great wine selections to compliment what we were getting.

We got more seafood this time which included the prawns and clams (must get) and a salad on the side, which I think could be slipped the next time I’m back.

Nice spot. Nice wine selection. The protected patio is really nice on a warm day. Two half carafs and a cheese plate was $200 with tip.

It was one of those difficult days. I was hungry and did not feel like cooking. Had no idea what to eat or where to go for some takeout. As I walk across, I see some picnic tables and bright orange umbrellas... the people seemed happy and chill, so I was like hello Ladybug!! I was greeted with a pleasant smile and a candlelit atmosphere. I sat at the bar and chatted with the waiter. I ordered a rum & coke then asked about their menu. The hot dish of the night was a Peruvian chicken... boy o boy, it did not disappoint. It had just the right kick of flavour(I'm sure they can add some heat if you ask). I ate enough to fill my tummy and saved the rest for lunch the next day.

I would recommend this place for a chill night of catch-up or a date night.

Thank you, Ladybug, for a welcoming and enjoyable dinner!!
