It was one of those difficult days. I was hungry and did not feel like cooking. Had no idea what to eat or where to go for some takeout. As I walk across, I see some picnic tables and bright orange umbrellas... the people seemed happy and chill, so I was like hello Ladybug!! I was greeted with a pleasant smile and a candlelit atmosphere. I sat at the bar and chatted with the waiter. I ordered a rum & coke then asked about their menu. The hot dish of the night was a Peruvian chicken... boy o boy, it did not disappoint. It had just the right kick of flavour(I'm sure they can add some heat if you ask). I ate enough to fill my tummy and saved the rest for lunch the next day.
I would recommend this place for a chill night of catch-up or a date night.

Very cozy and warm atmosphere. Your eyes immediately get drawn to the the curved wall alcoves that frame the bar. Our server was great! He was attentive and provided excellent recommendations throughout the meal.
Tapa style menu where dishes are meant to be shared. And while everything was well-executed, I found the menu lacking in creativity. The tostones, though tasty, felt more like a home-cooked snack than a restaurant dish. It needed that extra flair to elevate it. The prawns were perfectly cooked but flavours felt uninspired and left me wanting more.

Went at 11:30pm and were told they were closing and doing last call. (Website says they were closing much later. They simply said it was not that busy.
We ordered Fall Flights. They were ok. I like trying new wines and unique flavours like this one had.
They ended up staying open, but the service was not attentive.
Might try it again.

Came here on a date night and had the best time! We did the seasonal wine flight and it was extremely well curated; we loved every wine. We shared the feta mousse, the gailan, massaman curry, prawns, and my partner also had the roasted pig cheek. Generous portion sizes, we were so full and couldn't finish the last dish. The staff were friendly, attentive, and really fun. The atmosphere is relaxed, and not bougie-feeling; you could go dressed up or dressed down. It was our first visit but we will definitely be back again soon!

I love this hidden gem in my neighborhood that I’ve been ‘gatekeeping’ since they opened, and usually only go alone to enjoy a nice glass of wine and a great book, but I decided to share the experience finally. This is a charming little winebar, and although these are popping up everywhere, this one truly stands out. They have an incredibly thoughtful and well curated wine list with monthly wine flights and amazing food pairings to match. The service and hospitality are exceptional and it’s the perfect type of place to stay just a while longer. This is a great place to cosy up in a quiet and intimate environment by yourself or with someone special!

Ladybug gives off a great, inviting vibe! It feels like a neighbourhood pub but instead of beer they got wine! The staff is great and don't come off overpretentious. The decor and vibe is great for a date or a night out with friends! We always enjoy our time and love having a place like this in Corktown!
