Lageez Authentic Indian Cuisine

The Vindaloo and Tikka Masala here are to die for. Literally I would choose either as my last meal. All you need is some Naan or some Popadum and you will be in Heaven.
The Manager/Owner Vishnu is friendly and professional. The other staff are excellent.

We have been going to Lageez for years, even before my daughters were born! We do mostly takeouts. My girls absolutely love their butter chicken. It is not too spicy with a lovely tomato based sauce so both my 9 and 11 year old order it every time. Our other household favs (mild to spicy) include Palak Paneer, Shahi Paneer, Eggplant Bharta, Curry Goat, Lamb Biryani, Bhindi Do Pyaza (okra). Most dishes come with rice or nann but we always get extra. Garlic is my fav but my girls prefer the butter nann, both are delicious especially when eaten hot. I LOVE the aromatic, saucy and homey flavour of their dishes, on top of a heaping serving of rice and a ripped piece of nann. We always have left overs and are just as good when heated up the next day.

Got takeout from Lageez recently. Goat curry was really good, but rice portion far too small and rice was ok nothing special for Indian cusine so I was a little bit disappointed because usually Indian rice is good.
I will definitely go back and try different dish.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Lageez with my wife. The food was delicious, authentic, and full of flavor. Everything was served hot and fresh, right on time. The service was top-notch – our server was incredibly polite, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great Indian food and excellent service!

This place is hidden gem. Food is so flavorful and delicious. This is our go to spot of Indian food (even though we live closer to coxwell/gerrard). Dishes include either rice or naan which is great deal. We often get take out and the fresh naan is still quite yummy but definitely better eaten fresh at the restaurant. Sachin and staff are great. Highly recommend.

Really good quality food and very accommodating to one’s dietary restrictions. Sachin was extremely helpful with customising multiple menu items for us. The spice level is mild so make sure you ask for extra spice.
Mint chicken was good and goat curry was also very nice. Lime mint soda was a 10/10 . Will definitely visit again.

We have been looking for a new “go to” Indian restaurant since Mount Everest closed. By coincidence the owner of this restaurant studied cooking with the owner of M.E. and it is evident in the quality and quantity we received. Also had pakoras and samosas and all was great. We even had leftovers. Our new go to. Highly recommended!

All the breads are incredible. Fav sabzis included - baked eggplant , bindi, mixed veg, cauliflower, all the dals !

Must dine-in next time (would love to eat this fresh from the kitchen!!)

Found this little gem of a place via reviews on Google and decided to try it out ourselves. We are so happy we did! We finally found an authentic Indian restaurant in Scarborough that we will definitely be visiting again and again because their food was so delicious. Tried their Palak Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala. Compliments to the chef! Shout out to Sachin, our server, who was more than happy to explain the differences between certain dishes. Service was awesome! He made sure our first experience eating here was comfortable and pleasant. We are looking forward to another visit soon!

The food here is delicious!! We've been twice. Had the butter chicken and Tikka masala. Naan is cooked to perfection. The music is nice. The waitstaff is lovely. We will definitely be back. A bit of a hidden gem in this plaza, but absolutely worth the visit.
