Super cute bakery in Etobicoke. Popped in for a snack today with my husband and we were very happy we did. Enjoyed great spinach/cheese pita, cherry strudel, espresso. Lots of other pastries and desserts I'll be happy to try next time. Comfortable seating & atmosphere. Eastern European. Family run. Exactly our kind of place --old school-- these places are real gems. Great neighbourhood location, too. We'll make Lale a regular stop on our outings!

A tiny little bakery with the best desserts!
Everything is made from scratch and you can feel the difference! The desserts are not something that we eat often (calories), but when we do, it's always this place!
The owners really take pride in what they do, each dessert is fabulous and the quality is always top notch. Many amazing experineces here and many more to come!

I went to an o line group about Toronto to ask for the best Black Forest Cake in the GTA and I'm happy that they recommended Lake Bakery Caffe. It was indeed the best one. The cake layers were thin with delicious whipped cream and cherries between them. The service was uncomplicated and the owners/staff always smiling even in a rainy day.
