Had a great time. They have a good selection with lots of Vegetarian and Vegan options.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Veg platter with Injera (similar to a Raagi based Dosa) as the base and also Injera to have alongside. Their platter had 7 different varieties of Veggies and each had a unique taste. The Raw Chilly is super pungent and should be careful if you cannot handle it.

We also tried their Cinnamon honey tea. The basic tea itself was refreshing that we didn’t had to add the tea bag.

The lentil soup and Coffee was good too. The coffee pot seemed endless with the supply of coffee 😁

Abby took good care of us and we had a great experience. Service was prompt.

This time my partner and I had a delicious raw kitfo and veg platter. It was standout. I have been coming here for at least 20 years. I still come by occasionally, though I don't live in the neighborhood anymore.

I really love this place. Had my 19th birthday celebration and went on my first date with my partner here. For my birthday the staff surprised me with a cake someone popped out to get, which was so sweet. Holds fond memories.

We came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with a group of 8 adults. We had called earlier to confirm availability, and getting a table was easy. The restaurant itself has an older feel with unique décor that adds to the charm.

There was only one server working that day, and she handled everything from seating guests to taking orders. Despite being busy, she was polite and attentive whenever we asked for refills or had requests.

The menu is quite large and complex, which can be a bit overwhelming if you’re new to Ethiopian food. It would have been helpful to have more descriptions or explanations of dishes, especially for anyone with food allergies. Once we ordered, the wait was noticeably long, about 40 to 45 minutes before food arrived. It made me wonder if the kitchen was also understaffed.

I ordered the Lalibela platter for one with lamb and beef. The portion was generous, the meat had a nice bit of heat, and everything on the plate was flavourful. Everyone at the table also enjoyed their dishes.

The bathroom was serviceable, clean enough, though dated. In the women’s washroom, only one stall was working at the time. No complaints from the men’s side.

Overall, I would recommend trying this spot if you’re curious about Ethiopian cuisine. The food was tasty and portions satisfying. The main drawback was how long the dishes took to come out, but hopefully next time the service will be quicker.

This place has long wait I hate it

Great authentic food.

The food was delicious and the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. However, I was disappointed to find that the toilet was clogged and quite dirty. It takes away from the overall experience. I hope the management addresses the washroom cleanliness, because everything else was really good.
