Went there after ski show ⛷️ Five of us had pizzas and spaghetti and meatballs. The food was good, the service was very good and it's a clean, well-lit place on Roncesvalles. Our seating was benches on a long table.
Place is great. Their pasta is cooked to perfection. I personally had the spaghetti with bolognese sauce and it was one of the best bolognese that I ever tried.Their gnocchi are big, tasty and have the perfect consistency.Their special mac and cheese with bacon is very good, though it wasn't to my kid's taste. But she had a great time with plain spaghetti with cheese.I didn't try their ravioli but was told they were very good too.The waitress was ver attentive and kind.
Don't bother ordering the gluten-free pizzas here. The crust looked like a frozen gluten-free pizza crust you get from the grocery store, I was not impressed. There are other better places on Roncesvalles with good gluten-free crusts like Pizzeria Defina, so I won't be coming here again.
Saturday summer dinner with friends. Great restaurant and atmosphere, good service with delicious food. I was surprised how quiet it was for a weekend, we were pretty much the only table that night (must be the pandemic).I was able to try their Pesto Gemilli pasta that included chicken, cherry tomatoes, basil and caramelized onions. The flavour awesome and pesto sauce was creamy, blended well throughout. As for pizzas, they were great. The Fig pizza had a good balance of savory from the Prosciutto and sweetness from the fig and honey. High Park pizza had a nice spicy kick, and the Lambretta had a fresh arugula taste topped with their tomato sauce.Definitely recommend this Italian spot.
I had a Margarita pizza and it was fantastic. The sauce was great and cheese was delicious. The crust was a great texture. Overall had a good time. The service was friendly as well. Overall recommend it!
Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian pizza and pasta options
So I decided to try local Roncy pizzeria, Lambretta.I knew the first moment I walked in and saw their pizza oven that I was going to like it. Pizza Napolitana is my favourite style so it was likely an easy 5 ?.What I ordered:1 x Old Fashion1 x Arancini1 x Pepperoni PizzaWhat I liked:Service ✅ service was great. I sat at the bar since I was dining alone. Nice vibe to the restaurant as it got busy during the lunch hours.Arancini ✅ I was glad I ordered them. Delivered on what I expected. Just check the photos I took. ?Chilli Citrus Oil ✅ this was a new one for me. I’ve had chilli oil but the citrus was a nice addition and added to the overall flavour of the pizza. Delicious!Pizza ✅ the pizza for me was a standard Neapolitan. Crust, Sauce, Cheese & Pepperoni we’re all very good. I would likely order this again if I came back. Just look at the photos, it doesn’t get much better than that. What could’ve been better:Old Fashion ❌ cocktail was alright. In hindsight, I wish I ordered a beer but I wanted to see their approach to the cocktail. It’s not the best one I’ve ever had but also not the worst. No garnish! ??♂️I would definitely return to Lambretta if I was in the area and you should give them a try! They have a ton of interesting menu items!!! ?
Pasta dishes are excellent! Everything made from Scratch. Layers of flavor with each bite.Staff is very well trained and make your visit a delightful experience. Highly recommended!!
Ordered $60 of food from the Davenport location though a delivery app. The website does not state that it the Davenport location is closed. They took the money but the app could not deliver. Skip the Dishes customer service does not exist. The Roncesvalles location basically said sorry, you're on your own. I'm out $60. Proceed at your own risk.
Once was a great addition to the neighborhood. Pizzas are rolled too thin in the middle resulting in wet and soggy pizza. Service was lacking attention
Went for a special event, as part of a party of seven. The waitress was friendly, attentive and service-oriented. She seemed to be the only wait staff, and the restaurant was relatively busy, but she was moving efficiently and seemed to be everywhere at the right time, without seeming hurried. The food was delicious! The appetizers were scrumptious! They ran out of the pizza special, but our table devoured the pasta special (gnocchi in a gorganzola cream sauce). I was tempted to lick my plate clean!!! I've been dreaming of going back.

{Roncesvalles} First time there - dining in. Cool atmosphere, loved the view of the pizza kitchen and to watch them craft the pie's. Our waitress (Martina) was super nice - loved her eye contact. We had the Calamari Fritti, Caesar salad, and the Classica Pizza. The eats were quite nice, loved the still crunchy jalapeno slices on the pie itself. The salad was on point and the calamari was spectacular (recommended). The price suited the area and the style of eatery (hence the 4 stars). Would defiantly return to try some more items on the menu.
Excellent dishes, good value for money. You won't be disappointed. Went for lunch, had some delicious garlic bread and pasta dishes. Topped it off with a really good cheesecake. I would come back here
EDIT: Sad to the see the response from the owner. Did she offer to remake the order at her other, further away location? Yes. Did she offer it free of cost? No that is untrue, and only after hearing this, I ended the call angrily, stating the same story from my original post below. Did I yell? Yes. Was it in an angry tone? You bet, I was very frustrated. Was it abusive? No. I didn’t use any offensive or insulting words, nor did I curse. I made sure I corroborated with the others who were listening to the call in the car before posting this edit, as I wanted to be sure. There’s a reason why Google doesn’t let owners review posts.ORIGINAL: Will never again be ordering/coming to Lambretta Pizzeria. Used to live in the area and frequently got it. Now living in Hamilton traveling to Etobicoke to celebrate my sister’s birthday, so decided to pick up Lambretta on the way. Timed it perfectly arrived 5 minutes before pick up time, only for it to be CLOSED! I knocked on the window, Ubereats and DoorDash drivers showed up and had to cancel their orders. Called the other location to give them a heads up and see if there was a mix up on locations. Was told by the owner Ubereats was turned off. And took my number. Got a call back saying it was all Ubereats fault and that they had turned it off, end of conversation. Was confused how this call back would help me in my situation as all I wanted was pizza to bring to my sisters, didn’t care who’s fault it was. No coupon/voucher issued by either Ubereats nor Lambretta for wasting my family’s time (about 90 minutes from ordering to end of call back), especially after calling the other location to help, possibly save from more frustrated customers. We ended up eating 75 minutes later after ordering Pizzeria Libretto, it was delicious would recommend.
We've tried Good Fellas before, but Lambretta Pizzeria has its own unique taste. The first impression of the restaurant is its vintage vibe and the cleanliness of the place. We ordered the Pesto and the Lambretta pizza. They both went well with the soda chinotto. I didn't like my Mimosa that much due to the bitterness, but that's my own preference. Overall, a very nice place to visit.
When I walked in, my chakras were perfectly balanced. I was greeted by the friendly staff and had a nice convo about the pizzas on the menu. I asked the server to recommend one of the pizzas and it was probably the best pizza I've ever had. Delish. ?I like how the pizza was cut into quarters, not eighths. That's my jam. It was nice and fresh, made in those giant ovens. Perfection.
