Stumbled upon this place by accident and I am so glad! I’ve been searching for authentic Central American food since I moved to Toronto and this place tastes just like home. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
I’ll be visiting often now!

My friends absolutely loved all the food and the pupusas were divine and delicious and the horchata was delicious. Will be coming back soon

They don't care, also not much options.
Will go to buy at other place.
The space needs to be updated.

I really enjoyed all the lovely food I tried at this place. It's well priced and very homemade Central American cuisine. Everything I tried from the beef soup, pupusas, tamales and refried beans were quite tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is absolutely delicious, but I don't like that they start asking you to leave before you've even finished eating, just because there are more people waiting
My go to spot for homemade feel food and breakfast 💕 underrated
Honestly am super disappointed.
I do believe all these recent reviews are faked to cover the horrible service of this place.
Me and my family have been coming here for years and honestly the place is just not doing well since new management took over.
Not only did we wait for 20 minutes trying to get the waitress attention to take our order. She kept taking others orders. When we finally had her take our order I asked for 5 revueltas papusas (pork and cheese) in which the waitress tells me they only have the mixed (pork, cheese, and beans). We ask why they can't make the one I just asked for that just doesn't have the beans in. which the waitress says they do not have them. Honestly fed up we just left.
We had come on a previous visit on which they didn't have mayo, chilly sauce, or anything on the breakfast menu (that they advertise as all day breakfast.
Will not be returning. Better off saving your time and money and go to another El Salvadoran restaurant that would not keep telling you they don't have the items on their menu.

Absolutely amazing spot! San Silvar reminds me of back home — good, fresh, and full of flavour. I ordered the mixed plate and a bunch of meat, bean, and cheese pupusas for the family at lunch, and everything was delicious. The pupusas were perfectly made, with just the right balance of filling and texture. The mixed plate was generous and satisfying. Such a warm, welcoming place — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Food and services excellent 👌 👍
We've been eating here for many years, the pupusas are great, but the service needs help.
You need another server on the wknds or the man that is only there to charge should help out the poor girl that doesn't have the time of day to even breathe.
You've lost some clients due to this
❤️
Love this place, best salvadoreña food in Toronto, the service is amazing. I really recommend this place
