“The burger itself can have more veggies but the meat was fresh so I loved it. The portion of regular fries were huge and Yucca fries were so good too.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Sat down at the patio. It was a such a good vibe.

Mine was Classic burger on too of the menu w beef, upgraded fries. Including 15% tips it was 30 in total“

“We loved this place! Went there and had the most incredible service, followed by excellent food. An absolute joy to experience. We loved the food so much and had so many questions and as it turns out they are mum's recipes cooked by two wonderful brothers. Will be back again and again! Thank you for your wonderful food :)“

“The appetizers were excellent; the tuna and shrimp ceviche was fresh and well balanced, and the corn elote ribs were truly one of a kind. The mac and cheese was rich and soulful, but the cornbread really stole the show: incredibly moist, full of flavor, and perfectly complemented by the butter provided. The main dishes were above average overall. The jerk chicken was nicely presented and thoughtfully put together, though the chicken itself could have been more flavorful. The curry lamb, on the other hand, was very succulent and appetizing; however, the roti served with it was disappointing and fell short of expectations. Overall, a great experience with standout appetizers and sides, with some room for improvement on a few main elements.“

“Good would have been five stars, however, many items and specials on the menu were not available to order. The taste, presentation, and price for meals is excellent. The atmosphere is dragged down by the heavy smoke from people around the restaurant's location (adjacent to a smoke shop).“

“I knew my soul was asking me for some Latin Flavor! This was my experience … Sitting in the cozy patio heated up by some warm outdoor heaters and greeted by the Owner Antonio in a very friendly manner and leading me to their cozy outdoor patio space heated up by outdoor heaters. Rustic, clean and lit up patio style, latin music, full of people in the patio chatting and laughing. I was introduced to the chef and waitress and they were both very friendly. I was served a delicious classic sour margarita just the way I asked with less agave. They bring it out with a beautiful red pedal inside just lovely. Then my main dish for this day that I was craving was the Peruvian style ceviche. It was just enough salt and lemon to my taste served with chips tostaditos on the side. I also had 4 little tequenos which are pastries filled with cheese and a sauce and finally ended with dessert un flan !!! Definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family!“

“Just all the right things are in place here. We first tried their food when the GEM patio opened during COVID. We loved it. We finally made it to their own space in person. Lovely patio, fabulous service, great menu and food, spot on cocktails and wine list. A total win for us!“

“We made a reservation for a Thursday night and enjoyed the beautiful decorations, food and drinks. The menu features Mexican appetizers, mains and desserts. The drinks menu also includes famous Mexican drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). We ordered “Guacamole + Chips”, “Quesadilla” and “Roast Chimichicken” and enjoyed our meal. The service is fast and efficient.“

“MEXITACO, 74 Simcoe! just ate here tonight for hubby's birthday. Everyone’s meal was delicious. Wonderful food. Great staff. Very reasonable prices. Definitely will make it a regular choice when we go out!“

“First of ALL, the service and food were excellent!! my only complaint was where we were sitting. right under the speaker and they had a DJ. i had to yell to have a convo but it was still vibes. loved the chicharron and the birria empanadas. chefs kiss. The plantano con queso was not worth the price. Our tacos were top tier. we had the birria, camerones con coco and camarones. they were top tier. I WILL BE BACK!“
