A mixture of Latin American and Chinese/Japanese cuisine. If you want authentic Peruvian food without “Cuy” this is bang on. The ambience reminds me of all the small food stalls in Peru. No one does ceviché better than Peruvians.

One of the best peruvian dish I have had since ages. It is held by a mother and her daughter and when you go there, you see stream of peruvians flocking to the place. That's when you know the food is good when even the locals go there. 5/5.

This unassuming tiny shop serves out big authentic flavours with smiles and music! We had Peruvian ceviches, chicken tamale and freshly made pupusas, totale bien! Gracias! We’ll be back again next time in Toronto!

Best, most authentic Peruvian food in Toronto, according to my Peruvian husband. He likes to go some weekends, when they have meals (a few set meals, rotating each weekend). They also have freshly made pupusas out front, which are delicious and so fresh tasting). Also, on both weekdays and weekends they have tasty empenadas (including vegetarian option), churros etc. And all staff are friendly. Really love this place! It is tiny and there are only a few tables, but it's worth the wait, for sure.

Decided to try out this little shop after researching for Peruvian food in Toronto. My partner (half Peruvian) is a big fan of aji de gallina and he told me this dish tasted exactly like his grandma's. I'm also a big fan of this dish after trying this for the first time. Ceviche here was also on point. We'll definitely visit again.

Hands down best empanada in 20 years of eating Empanadas in Kensington market. Great price, loveliest lady running the show.

Was walking down Kensington when we first smelt, then saw these customers sitting outside enjoying these DELICIOUS looking seafood soups. We just HAD to stop and try it.

I'm not even sure if it's on the written menu, but we asked the cashier if we could order a bowl and she said yes. The sweet mamas served us up with gorgeous bowl of parihuela and my goodness was it good. It was packed full of flavour and had so much seafood. It was $22 for a large bowl of soup and worth every penny.

So excited to go back and try everything else.

Our experience at the local Peruvian restaurant was pleasant overall. We opted for the fresh chicken taco, which, while flavorful, left something to be desired in terms of taco seasoning and chicken meat quantity. The dominant taste of garlic was unexpected and somewhat overwhelming.
