Latin Taste is an amazing little restaurant with tons of care, heart, and flavour. I returned for the renowned scallop ceviche which I had tried on a previous trip to Toronto. I had dreams about the ceviche and my experience there.

Lorena is so lovely, warm, funny, and welcoming. She made me feel like it was my home. All the staff are also amazing!!! I returned in the same day to bring my partner with to try a papusa. It was made fresh, right outside and was so delicious.

I can't say enough good things about this absolute gem of a place. Everyone go try some amazing Peruvian food and meet the lovely owner and staff, you won't regret it, I promise. This is a very special place!!!

Best pupusa I have ever had.
Although I am not sure with the opening hours. I have visited the location on weekdays around 1400 but it was not open.
It seems to be open until 1800 on weekends tho.

My friends and I went to try some dishes (papa rellena/ ceviche/ arroz con mariscos/ seco de cordero) of the menu and ALL THE FOOD/DRINKS WERE DELICIOUS. Definitely a must try. I am Peruvian and the food really brought me back home. GRACIAS LORENA POR TU RICA COMIDA E INCREÍBLE SERVICIO.

I must thank Tiktok for helping me find this amazing place. The owner is the most wonderful, friendly pleasant person, the empeñada's are some of the tastiest I've ever had, and the price is pretty good for the size. I most definitely recommend giving it a try!!!

Proof that the best things come in small packages. Fanastic empanadas, even better tamales and humitas. And the women running the place are too lovely for words.

The staff were absolutely lovely, warm, and welcoming. From the moment we walked in, there was a kind and genuine energy that made us feel instantly at ease. We picked up two refreshing chica moradas, which were perfectly chilled and full of flavor, and also grabbed a few groceries from their small but thoughtfully stocked store.

Everything was fresh and inviting. I would really love to return and try some of their prepared food items, which looked and smelled amazing. The whole experience left us feeling right at home. This place was fantastic in every way, and I cannot wait to visit again.

A nice small business with good customer service, good food at good prices, and it was fresh! Had their empanada and salsa and it was amazing, will definitely go again to support local small (likely family or community run) business !

I absolutely adore this place, and the people who work here. I live in the neighbourhood, and I almost always stop here when I'm out shopping. My boyfriend and I have this place as our go-to when we're thrifting and running errands in the nearby shops. The meat always tastes so fresh, and overall these empanadas seem to taste handcrafted with quality ingredients. On top of this, the lady who runs this shop is so sweet, always greets me and has conversation with me! We love to share about our cultures, and end in wishing each other well. I highly recommend stopping by. I cannot express how much I love this place, and wish them the best!

The driest Enpinada I’ve ever eaten, maybe an off day but tasted microwaved or just overcooked. One bite and binned it.

Service was friendly and nice. They could tell it was our first time. Empanada was great. They ran out of spicy chicken but we'll come back to try it!
