Staff are super kind and accommodating! Great food! Ordered vegetarian tacos for lunch! Super delicious, they serve complimentary tortilla chips with great salsas! I am confident, with this quality, no one can beat their price in Toronto!

I originally wanted to tip them, but I wouldn't do it again. The cashier gave me around 8 to 10 coins to make a loonie, to what she gave me this big smile with it. If you do not want to give a dirty/susio-susio image, please be ready with proper change (oh, if you want to give it, of course)
When I picked up the to go box, it felt as though had someone sneezed a couple of meters from me, the to-go box would have flown away. Not good 20 CAD invested in Mexican food. Strongly suggested to go a couple of meters east at Itacate. Cheers!

Latin World restaurants offer some of the closest authentic Mexican flavors I've had in Toronto. The standout for me is the amazing deal on the 1 CAD Tacos de Canasta—absolutely delicious! Don’t expect a fancy setting, it’s more like being in a cozy Mexican grocery store, which adds to the charm. If you're after genuine taste and a casual vibe, this place is a must-visit!
I don't know if they are new owners but the service is terrible and if they could cook without so much fat it would be excellent, Mexican food is delicious, and even though it doesn't have to have so much fat.

Went to have something for lunch, but as soon as we entered, we decided to leave: the place was literally boiling, no AC, smoke on the whole restaurant, unbearable to stay there for more than 5 minutes. Other 2 guests left cause of the same reason ??
I have been to many amazing Mexican restaurants in the city, unfortunately this is not one of them. Both the food and the service left a lot to be desired. I got the pozole and carnita taco and both of them were far from expectation.
- Pozole tastes nothing like the one I had in Mexico City, the chicken is dry, the broth is too salty and overall tasted very "cheap" compared to what was charged ($12 for a small bowl) for it. I was expecting avocado and chicharron similar to the ones in Mexico City and those were missing too.
- Credit to them for using corn tortilla instead of the flour ones commonly used outside of Mexico. However the carnita inside (pulled pork) was very dry, not sure if it had been sitting for too long. It could have been a delicious taco but the carnita ruined it.
Finally on the service, it might have been a long day for the staff, but they seem to be annoyed with us visiting the store. I understand the clientele is mostly Spanish-speaking and although I don't speak the language, I tried my best to order food I had experience with and not ask too many questions. I asked if chicharron and avocado would be included in the pozole and he just dismissively nodded. When we saw that they were not included and asked about it, he said he didnt know I wanted them and raised his voice to say that he couldn't understand me. I apologized as English isn't my first language as well and I didn't want to cause a scene. While I understood that there was a language barrier, their behaviour caught me by surprise.
I will continue to enjoy tacos in this city but safe to say I won't return to Latin World.

Amazing! Great food prices anywhere in the city. Amazing atmosphere and staff are incredibly nice. 100% recommend if you're looking for cheat eats but don't let the portions fool you 10 tacos will leave you stuffed. You won't break the bank doing it either! Authentic Mexican food for an unbeatable price ??
