I had a reservation - early dinner. Treated very badly. Expensive, not great food. But great service! If you have had the experience of being offered the worst tables so that the place can rid of those tables early, you will know what I mean. The first two tables we turned down were never filled - the four tops we asked for (for two diners) were filled with two’s after we sat down. The food is not great quality. Pretty utilitarian furnishings (looks better when it is dark). Our server, however, was outstanding. This is a straight tourist place. We lived in this neighbourhood for years and just moved back. Hard to get a reservation in December, but I was able to get a reservation here (as it turns out, not surprising!). I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It is an expensive tourist place. Toronto is full of great restaurants. Tourists should spend their money somewhere else. People who live in the neighbourhood don’t eat here.
Only somebody who was never in France could possibly think that this restaurant serves a great french food. I have ordered Cassoulet, a staple of traditional French cuisine. The beans were insufficiently cooked and tasted worse than canned beans from Loblaws or No Frills. They gave me a HALF of a sausage. The pork belly was an inedible rubber hard cube of fat. The Duck leg was edible, but tasteless. I guess that they can get away with serving a mediocre food because the most of Toronto folks were never in Europe and don't have a clue what a real food is. Honestly though, one would do much better and very much cheaper to just get Big Mac and fries...........

Hosted our Christmas work party, the wait staff was very attentive and catered to all of our needs. The food was amazing, would definitely go back for another dinner when I’m in the area!

I have been here on a number of occasions. Dates, nights out with friends, occasions. You know the type of things. This past visit, I had some family in town, and I like to take them to different types of restaurants and cuisine types when in town. They live up north and don't get exposed to a big variety of cuisine normally. This time, we were in the area and looking a bit under dressed. Not dirty or anything, just very casual considering. The staff treated us no differently than in other times I had been there (when more appropriately attired) and was as attentive as always. Even helping my nephew with some pronounce of the munu in light and cheerful way. He really does not understand French. In the end, it was an evening enjoyed by all.Next time, we will be less spontaneous and book a table and dress a little more appropriate ?

We went it for the dinner with family. The lady in the suit (seems to the manager or the owner) was very Racist and did not like brown people. She was extremely rude with us ( i asked her about some dishes in the menu) and she told me its in there read it you will understand and told me that i can google it if i do not understand. I mean is that the way this restaurant treats their customers. I would never recommend this place at all. Date of visit october 20.2023. Time between 7pm-8pm. They need to train there people how to treat a customer.

Came here for a birthday dinner, the ambience was very cozy and quiet, it wasn't busy at all when we got there. The appetizers were okay, the escargot was good but the fried brie cheese was a bit too heavy on the seasonings, in our opinion. The main courses however were great; the steak was cooked and seasoned well, and the fries had a good amount of salt. The duck breast tasted like ham, it paired well with the sauce and wedges on the side. The desserts were great as well, the mousse au chocolat was a bit small for the price, though it was very rich. Overall, great experience, would probably try the crepes or French Onion Soup next time.

Definitely not as good as it once was before they moved to this location. The portions seemed smaller than before. The savoury and sweet crêpes were good but not good enough that I would want to go back. The whole dinning experience just didn't seem enjoyable. We had:• Crêpe De la Mer - scallops and shrimp in our tarragon cream sauce• Crêpe St-Laurent - bacon, cooked apples and cheddar cheese• Smoked Duck Breast - served with a mixed berry-cassis sauce, vegetables and daily potatoes• Mousse au chocolat• Cheesecake• Crêpe aux Fraises

Nice atmosphere inside and friendly staff, ordered soup of day (Cream of broccoli) and crepe with beef bourguignon => the soup was pleasant, little bit on milky side, but beef was over salted in my taste
Great service and very attentive servers.Food was quite bland. Ordered the coq au vin, chicken was fairly dry and frankly tasted like something from a food court. Beef bourguigon was nice but the accompanying rice was very hard and dry.

Lovely ambiance and our server was attentive. We found the onion soup to be bland and lacking onions. The escargot lacked flavor with very little garlic. I ate one and left the rest.

Worst French meal I’ve ever had. First I had the Poulet en Peche, which was tough and the “sauce” watery. The very attentive waiter voided the charge and brought me my second choice:a crepe with bacon, apples, and cheddar. That was my first ever crepe without any sauce whatsoever. They need to go back to the drawing board with their recipes. Go anywhere else for a French meal.
Restaurant français dans un édifice historique qui donne un cachet à l'endroit. Le service impeccable. Les portions sont généreuse. La nourriture est bonne. Bon rapport qualité-prix.

This is our 3rd dining experience . Our last was 8months ago and we wanted to try again . Although our waiter was excellent . They did not have two of our wine selections. Sold out. I ordered beef bourguignon and it was very dry . The rice was Al Dente and lacked flavour I asked for a coffee and they said they have run out of cream . My husband asked for a cappuccino and they said their machine is broken . It was broken our last visit . 8 months ago ?? The plating of the food is vey boring. I’m so disappointed .
This sweet St Lawrence staple has been on my list for sometime and I’m so glad my partner and I finally had some time to sit down here for a cozy dinner. Our server Juan was lovely and took the time to recommend the best-ofs on the menu including the French onion soup, the smoked Duck breast, and the Pâtes aux Fruits de Mer all of which paired wonderfully with each other. The pasta is excellent for those looking for a garlic dish over seafood and the Duck breast is an excellent shareable with the breast cut into 7 bite sized pieces served under a heavenly mixed berry sauce and a side of potatoes and string beans. The French onion soup is a tasty and hearty starter to any dish on the menu. Looking forward to coming back to sampling the rest of the menu soon! ☺️
