Great service and amazing food
We came across this Hidden Gem while strolling through Yorkville✨Paleron au Poivre was a Flat Iron Steak seared to perfection served with Fries, a Steak Lover’s must get! Boeuf a la Bourguignonne was a Braised Beef in Red Wine Sauce served with Bacon, Mushroom, Carrot and Pearl Onion, the Beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, so GOOD! Saumon Marine was a cured Salmon dish served with Goat Cheese, the serving was generous, and so good to go with Baguette! Escargots were OK, Shell-off Snails baked in Garlic Butter!
Hidden gem of a restaurant

Le Paradis has got to be our favourite restaurant in Toronto. The food is very good, the staff are great, the ambience is excellent and the prices are very very good - especially these days. Le Paradis is not greedy as so many restaurants are these days charging way too much money for what they are selling - especially easy to see with wine lists at restaurants. And then some places like to give specials - half price bottles one night a week - just to make you feel you're getting a deal when in reality - it's making it the price it should be at most! So we LOVE Le Paradis - always a good time.
Thank you!!

We were a party of 3. We were seated on the back patio - a great location. With street and back patios this restaurant is deceptively large. There is a good selection of wines by the glass. Adam and the rest of the service team for the evening were excellent throughout - Thank you! We started with escargot and clam chowder for appetizers - both were excellent. For entrees we ordered duck leg confit, duck breast and braised lamb shoulder. The braised lamb shoulder was outstanding - exceptionally tasty and tender. The duck leg confit was disappointing. The duck leg was very dry and the glaze seemed to be missing - very odd. The duck breast demiglace was excellent, but the breast itself was very chewy - also disappointing. We closed with a single order of chocolate almond cake (Balthazar) - chocolate cravings fully satiated. The price point of this dining room represents exceptional value. I should note that this restaurant was selected for this evening's special occasion largely based upon the duck confit and on-line reviews. Unfortunately, the duck entrees disappointed to such an extent that it is unlikely we will return - very unfortunate as there are so many other positives with respect to this establishment.

Le Paradis is a gem in Toronto! The waitresses were super kind and friendly, and the food was delicious! We had the escargot, duck confit, and Icelandic cod—all cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the prices were fair!! Further, the restaurant decor gave a warm, homey vibe, which made the whole experience even better! I’ll definitely be back!

This place would get 4.5 stars for the food which is always delicious. They recently added new menu items which are equally yummy.
I typically prefer eating at the bar when I go out but the bartender here is gruff and rude. I have never had a server refuse to let me taste a draft beef before order it. It is too bad for this staffing blunder; the bar this the first point on contact when you enter this restaurant and you are greeted by a very unwelcoming individual.

I’ve been coming here for a while because I love the food, but my latest experience was not very pleasant. We kept trying to get the servers attention to get us bread and we finally got it, after we were almost done with our meal. After which, he shaded us for not tipping him enough. His words exactly, “the industry standard is 20%’. Not sure which world he’s living in where this is an industry standard. Secondly, if you expect that % of tip, have better service, or include the tip beforehand instead of ruining your dinners experience with your sarcastic comments.

Terrible service. Had reservation but table was not ready. We were asked to sit somewhere else until table is clean. 45 minutes later when I asked for 2nd time they seemed clueless as they had forgotten and when they realized, they started saying we are working on it while they had given few tables away. After total waiting of 50 Minutes after our reservation time (total 1 hour as we were 10 minutes early) we left hungry, Disrespected, Frustrated and had to go somewhere else.
Would never enter that place if I had left my phone and wallet there. Terrible attitude.
