This was my first time trying this type of food, and I will start off by saying that I will be going back here as much as possible! The food was absolutely delicious.Everyone who was working there was extremely kind and welcoming to my friend and myself. We each tried a bit of everything on the menu, and we had no complaints at all. We were amazed at how good it was. The chef even came out to say hi to us as we were leaving, which we found to be very nice! We were also shocked at the low prices for such high-quality fresh and home-cooked food. Thank you to everyone at Le Plato, we will be back!

Food is okay at best, service is abysmal. Ordered 2 chicken and rice combos prices at $12 each, and 1 order of fried plantain priced at $6. Please tell me why that came to a total of $48?? After some back and forth it seemed like he just defaulted to giving me the order of full chicken AND full rice x2 instead of the combos that I clearly asked for. Was already made for me so I felt like I just had to take it, just to eat it and be very underwhelmed, like it’s just boring old flavorless chicken and flavorless rice. I truly don’t understand.

I am a regular at le Plato. An authentic African cuisine restaurant . I always go for the Garba, allôco and chicken. Also recommend de drink bissap. You won’t regret it. Great service and great food
