We had initially gone because we wanted to go for the chefs tour secret option where the chef selects a bunch of items and kind of gives you a tasting menu experience. Unfortunately we did not get to experience this even though we were a small table of two and had gone for a birthday dinner. I think the food is quite delicious, probably the best salad in the city. The only reason for the lower rating is because our server was kind of rude, in fact we literally had to talk to a different server who was much nicer and had better service, however we did not get to switch to that server. Thanks

Absolutely fantastic dinner. Ambiance was beautiful, the service was top notch and super attentive, and the food was delicious. I hadn't been to lee in years, and I'm so happy I've returned. I'll definitely be visiting again soon.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Lee by Susur Lee, and the entire evening was outstanding. Every dish reflected the signature creativity and balance Susur Lee is known for. The Singapore-style slaw was vibrant and refreshing, the soba roll was beautifully executed, and the wagyu short rib with Jerusalem artichoke and mushrooms was the highlight of the night—rich, tender, and full of depth.

Service was polished, warm, and perfectly timed. The team made us feel truly taken care of without ever being intrusive, which made our anniversary dinner feel even more special.

The atmosphere was stylish, inviting, and ideal for a celebratory evening. It’s a space where you can relax, enjoy exceptional food, and appreciate the artistry behind each plate.

A memorable experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined, creative dining experience in Toronto.

Food was fantastic. We shared four plates for our date night. Everything came out fresh, presentable, and tasty. No complaints there. However, the staff seemed a bit ignorant and very snobby. Yes, this restaurant is pricy but we went in knowing that the bill would be expensive for a nice dining experience. We were told our table wasn't ready yet when we arrived which was fine because we were early. We came back right on time and were told that it was ready and to wait (strange). They have coat check service but not a single hostess asked us if we wanted to utilize this service. I went ahead and asked for my fiancé and I to get our jackets in to coat check. Meanwhile, I could hear the same hostesses ask multiple other guests after us if they wanted the same. Then we watched three other tables that came in after us, walked past us and get escorted to their table ALL While we waited for our table that was “ready”. When I asked why we were still waiting when our table wasn't ready “ready”, the one hostess said the guests at the table haven't left yet. We just felt that the lack of communication wasn't acceptable especially when we were told it was ready. Then we were told a manager would be coming to rectify the situation and when he arrived, he didn't even talk to us at all. Lol. Just seemed very odd and very disorganized. Almost chaotic. We finally got seated and the waitress was very kind. She checked on us multiple times throughout the night and never ignored us. All in all, I feel that the food was great but the service and the overall experience didn't fit the tab. Plain and simple.

Went here for our anniversary. Everything was amazing! Service was great. The slaw was delicious. Loved the entire experience.

One of the best places that is not even Michelin recommended which I think is a gross miss.

Although they do have a tasting menu, we went the a la carte way. First though the restaurant is beautiful and the staff were very nice and helpful, the only thing they missed was we asked for water multiple times and they forgot and never filled our cups without asking as well as never took empty cocktail glasses away. Maybe we are being a little prissy but that just annoyed us a little.

The cocktails we had were incredible and ask for their specials as they always have something new and delicious and it’s cool when they bring the bar cart.

We had half the menu and everything was delicious especially their famous Singapore style slaw with 24 ingredients. The lamb chops were so good too. The pasta with beef cheek were ok as we were expecting more but not a bad option. The cod blew us away and definitely a must grab as its flavour profile and lightness made us one or two more. The bao is a must too no questions asked. The tartare was very good, the Peking duck was easily one of our favourites and the octopus carpaccio had such intense but delicious flavours we literally cleaned the plate.

The desserts as well the rich chocolate cake was like a lava cake and worth it. And lastly the tart was an easy and light dessert that definitely satisfied the sweet tooth.

Overall would go back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely incredible experience. I have been following Chef Lee for quite a while. Was such a treat spending my birthday dinner there. Brendan did a fantastic job serving us. Cannot recommend the Singapore Slaw enough. Definitely will return someday.

Delicious food and great service! The new space is beautiful. We tried 7-8 dishes and multiple cocktails. The milk punch was amazing, very unique. The slaw lives up to the hype with 24 ingredients. The shrimp, cod and beef were great as well.

We came in for the final seating of the evening, and while the food was consistently good—as you’d expect from Lee—the service and overall experience were disappointing.

Upon arrival, I asked if we could sit toward the far end of the restaurant for a bit of peace and quiet, but was told no. Instead, we were offered a few tables near the middle. Throughout our entire meal, staff began setting up for a wedding—literally moving table after table just inches from where we were eating. It was noisy, distracting, and unlike anything I’ve experienced in a Toronto restaurant of this calibre.

When I asked why this couldn’t wait until after dinner service, the answer was simply, “We’re setting up for a wedding tomorrow.” It left me wondering why guests paying for a proper dining experience were treated as an afterthought, and why we couldn’t have been seated away from the setup in the first place.

The manager was polite, apologetic, and offered us a free dessert, which we declined as the moment had already passed. He assured us he’d make it up to us next time, but honestly, I’m not sure we’ll be rushing back anytime soon.
