A great Toronto brewery. Great quality and selection.
For beer in our fridge, it's always Left Field. I had run out over the weekend, prior to the game on Tuesday, October 7th 2025...and I sat watching the Blue Jays while sipping on no beer at all. That night the Jays lost 9-6 against the Yankees in the Post Season (Game 3). Wednesday morning I ran out and bought a 12 pack of Birdwatcher. That night the Jays won 5-2 to clinch the series and move forward.
This is just science. Choose Left Field.
Very nice restaurant. We loved it, the food was great and the beer was good as well. I had the October Fest beer slider which was great, and the hamburger was very delicious.
They have this cool feature that you order from the phone and put in your order and it comes right to your table, so you don't have to tip as much because there really isn't a waitress who comes to talk to you, and nobody takes your order or helps out with any questions. Just you and your phone. And when you're done you can pay right from your phone and leave which also made it easy to leave.
Will come back again was a nice place.
Awesome place to hang out on a summer day, you can order your own food in, bring in your dogs. Beer is really great and reasonably priced. Cool spot.
Editing my review in 2025 from 7 years ago. Was coming here for years but recently have not had great experiences. The past few times there have been so many young children and babies in the brewery to the point where it's disruptive and unenjoyable. Children running around unsupervised, screaming and yelling. I understand Left Field is family-friendly but, it feels more like a playground than an establishment that serves alcohol meant for adult socializing. My partner and I had our first date here years ago and have tried coming for date nights and the atmosphere doesn't really seem to cater to people trying to enjoy a date or a group of friends going out trying to have some drinks in a relaxing atmosphere. When meeting up with friends we have started going to other breweries that cater to a more adult atmosphere. Sucks, as I love everything else about Left Field.
Came here when visiting friends in Canada. Great brewery bar with a nice atmosphere and good drink selection. Staff were really friendly too
Love going here, and love Mike he's a g
No way someone gives less than 5 stars to this place, staff is super friendly and nice, beer is about the perfection, truly recommend this place to everyone I know.
Excellent brewery with classic Toronto feel.
Small back street brewery with a minimalist feel. The review reflects to what my group had felt the beers deserved; being we had 7 different beers and found majority of the main lagers + ales not that enjoyable. Was pleased with the IPA and sour. Probably worth a try within walking distance for a beer but not worth going far out of your way.
Nice place , good cold beer

Tucked away on a side street, Left Field Brewery is a bar where you meet your friends and neighbours to meet and catch up.
The Leslieville location didn't seem to have food menu, but there snacks available.
Dog and kid friendly space makes everyone feel so welcome 😃.
Great beer, staff and locale
Very nice place to chill with friends and have a couple of beers. Great variety and what a good vibe here! Sours, Lagers, IPAs and triple IPAs if you are a fan of strong beers! My favorites were the Squeeze Play (Sour) and The Birdwatcher (Lager), highly recommended! The only downside is parking could be annoying.
Awesome beer. Great space. Kid friendly. Love it
Third place after Avling and Black Lab? Nothing to be ashamed of. Greenwood IPA is A+.
