Perfect delivery that keeps in touch with you to let you know when you can expect your treats. Really enjoyed the Chocolat Double, which is a delicious mix of chocolate with cheesecake flavor and texture.

Letao is the best location to have a great tea time with your friend ??, the cake in here is not so sweet, and so fresh. The signature cake of this place is cheese cake, believe me, you should try it, it have enough flavor of cheese (not to strong, not to light) and the sweetness that will balence with your tea or coffee. The staffs also so sweet and friendly, they carefully take care of the customers and always make us feel like home.

Best cheesecake I have ever had, hands down! Ordered online, free delivery and so convenient! Their customer service Carlie was very fast in responding to questions! Amazing amazing place! What a hidden gem!

Nooo they're closed! I was so pleased when they opened up down the street from me and now so heartbroken to see the storefront for rent again. I hope they try again when everything improves, because they have really delicious ice cream and cheesecakes.

Delicious creamy ice cream! Although they got my order wrong the first time I visited when I ordered double fromage and got a chocolate one instead.. I’d still come back!

This place is amazing!!!!! I didn't know what good ice cream (the base) meant until I visited here. Once I started tasting it I couldn't stop eating!! I really like how open the space is and the way they go about using said space to display their various products. I tried the dark side plate and paid a very small fee to get both types of cakes instead. I've never been to a cafe like this before and I TOTALLY understand why they import their cakes. Both cakes had were densely packed with subtle sweetness and a consistent and creamy finish that was the same for both cakes. Pulling it back to the ice cream though... I know ice cream isn't supposed to be lunch but I HAD to have seconds in the form of a Sundae. I visited today (03/08) and I came out stuffed with sweets without feeling like I pigged out. I was in genuine bliss after downing my Sundae on this fine Sunday made infinitely better by LeTAO. Thank you so much Fion and the other person who was there!! ????

Happily satisfied my sweet cravings tonight. LeTAO is a Japanese bakery cafe specializing in cheesecakes and soft serve. The downtown Toronto location is the first store in Canada. Everything on their menu is made with high quality milk from Hokkaido and flown in from Japan. That also explains the price of their famous double fromage cheesecake which is the same size as the Uncle Tetsu Japanese cheesecake but 3x the price. Buying the entire cheesecake is definitely much better value than getting individual (tiny) slices. In comparison to the Uncle Tetsu cheesecake, I personally prefer the double fromage - a double layered cake where the bottom layer is fluffy baked Japanese cheesecake topped with an unbaked layer of light mascapone sprinkled with sponge cake crumbles. The result is a perfect combo of light and velvety texture with a rich and creamy dairy taste. The server was very friendly and patiently explained the items on their menu to me. When the whole cheesecake was served, it was beautifully plated. Their cappuccino was of quality and came in a decent size for $4. When we asked to pack the remaining slices to go, the server creatively packed the slices individually in a plastic cup (upside-down) with additional garnish. How thoughtful! Despite the higher price point for the cake, I do recommend those who prefer a lighter cheesecake to try it out.

I stopped to grab a coffee. The atmosphere is very nice however they do need a good coffee machine or maker. The coffee doesn't taste very good. Sorry for the 3 stars

Premium Japanese cheesecake shipped directly from Japan. Smoother texture comparing to regular Japanese cheesecake

What a lovely spot ! It’s a Japanese bakery cafe. They have cheescakes, ice cream and chocolates imported from Japan.

The cakes are very delicious and worth the price. However do keep in mind they're small. I didn't know this until I arrived, because I sampled a taste from the bridal show. I hope they plan to make cakes on a larger scale
