Got a chocolate mint large milk shake with a large chocolate chip cookie. Very friendly service and clean place to seat down having your ice cream.

Good ice cream, great selection of flavours (300 rotating house-made flavours!), and even better service. We had the so-called "small" ice cream sandwiches, which were made from two large cookies and two generous scoops of ice cream. The shopkeeper very accommodatingly put two flavours in mine when I could not make up my mind. The "large" ice cream sandwiches, which we did not get, look absolutely massive and like you won't need to eat for the next day. Service is what made this place extra special. The shopkeeper was very friendly, patient, helpful, and generous. Her cheerfulness was contagious and made us feel very welcome and happy to be there.

Our favorite spot for ice cream, especially at East End. I've been coming here for 2 years now and never get disappointed with the flavors and services. The staff is super humble and treats you with hospitality. My favorite flavor is black cherry, raspberry chocolate truffle, banana cream pie, funky monkey, and Kew lime. The flavors get rotated every week, but some flavors come back again. I'll miss them if I've to leave the area :(

I love this place. I've been coming here for years! The vibe is right, the staff is great, and the ice cream is perfect - especially the premium stuff which is made with real cream in-house.
Coming back to Toronto from Hamilton and getting to come back to this East End staple is amazing ❤️

We came to Gelato on the Danny with our sons, and we were all very excited for some great gelato. This was our first time, but it will not be our last! Everyone was friendly and inclusive of our kiddos. They were patient while we asked our questions about flavours and kindly advised on allergies and combinations. The gelato itself was so fresh and flavourful. I had an affogato, with rich creamy espresso. Genuinely a great experience and excellent gelato.

I just had a very unsettling and disheartening experience at Lickadee Split and felt compelled to share my experience. I took my daughter for an ice cream treat after school today, and we spent 5-10 minutes looking at the flavors before deciding what to get. During this time, we spoke back and forth, and I addressed my daughter by her nickname as I asked her what she wanted. There was a middle-aged woman behind the counter, she waited on my order without difficulty but seemed rather cold towards my daughter (even though my daughter's order was easier). When it came time to pay, she questioned who should be paying and emphasized that my daughter should be paying for me (no joking). I said my daughters 13, too young for a job. When I said my daughter, her facial expression looked taken aback, and she recoiled. She then continued to insist my daughter could pay and was not warm. This was such a troubling experience for me, I am white. My children are biracial. There was no reason for her to be unpleasant other than she must have an issue with racism. My daughter was very polite and well-mannered throughout the time that we were there. I feel really sad to experience this with my daughter. I hope this worker will learn the consequences of her behavior because it affects the profits and reputation of the business. I will never go here again.
Kid-friendliness: ******Addendum to my earlier review: I just spoke with the owner, Chresa, who took the time to listen to our experience and the impact it had on our impression of Lickety-Split. She seemed to genuinely care about how my daughter felt and how the experience soured my impression. She seemed to care about her customers and to want to be proactive.Chresa shared her thoughts, and we discussed how people can experience humour and conversation differently.I appreciated Chresa's professionalism and effort to rectify the experience. I hope it can be a learning experience for all of us.?
