the pork cheese katsu sandwich was kind of disappointing, but everything else was yummy. the waffle fries was fried EXTREMELY crispy and were hot and lightly seasoned. the sandwich took quite a long time to come out (even though everyone else’s dishes came out wayyy before???) and i found that it wasn’t as hot and juicy as i’d expected. the toast was thin and toasted crisply — as opposed to the thick fluffy ones at ohiru, which i prefer — it felt a little bit “cheap”....
Space is very clean and bright. I had the Karaage Sandwich and it was pretty bland and the chicken was dry, there just wasn't enough of the dill sauce.
The hashbrown rings on the other hand was soooo good! The mini pancakes were made perfectly, will definitely come back, but will avoid that sandwich.
Katsu pork sandwich was juicy and crispiest waffle fries that are fully seasoned. The iced matcha was delicious, creamy and sweet with that familiar matcha taste. The outdoor patio was relaxing, and the umbrellas provided lots of shade. This place offers big portion sizes for their mains so come hungry. They have a large selection of different drinks, including teas I have yet to try!
