I was seated right away even without a reservation, and Eddie was genuinely friendly throughout my visit. I ordered the strip loin with shrimp, which I believe is the priciest item on the menu, so I came in with fairly high expectations. The salad that came beforehand were quite forgettable, which I can understand, but they didn’t add anything special to the meal. The bigger issue was the steak itself: it was cooked unevenly and felt like something I could have made at home, and I’m by no means an expert. It seemed like it was put on the grill and left there mainly to get grill marks, rather than being cooked with much care. I’ve definitely had better steaks elsewhere, and the sides didn’t help redeem it: the carrots were undercooked, and the fries were just okay. Given the price of the dish, I felt there was a lot of room for improvement, and you might be happier choosing a more modestly priced option here instead.

This place not only has great food and drinks but more importantly the people are very nice! I come here to relax and enjoy myself and i can say truely that the Lighthouse is the best bar/ restaraunt ive ever been too!

Service and drinks were actually quite good, which made this even more frustrating. Unfortunately, the food was almost inedible. Everything tasted off, and we left genuinely worried we might get sick. It strongly seemed like the fryer oil was old or not properly maintained, which ruined the meal entirely.
It’s a shame, because the staff did their part but the kitchen seriously dropped the ball. I won’t be returning for food unless there’s a major improvement.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. I went with two other people and every single dish we all ate was fantastic and full of flavour. Clearly homemade food made with fresh ingredients. The staff were also attentive and friendly. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
