This place is the best restaurant I have ever been to. My family and I moved here 9 years ago and have been going very frequently. I now go with my friend about once a week when we are back from school and it is always the highlight of our week. The service is impeccable and everyone is very sweet and takes the time to talk to their customers and get to know them. The fried rice, wonton soup, and Thai iced milk tea are genuinely the best things I’ve ever had. Even while going away very much for school I make it a point to come back here at least once every time. Lime - in my opinion - is the center of the neighbourhood and definitely a pillar of high standing in the community. From the food, the service and the atmosphere, I can say it is mine and many others favourite restaurant.

I had high hopes for this restaurant because it came highly recommended, but I couldn't have been more disappointed. I ordered the Pad Thai and coconut curry broth. Both were very mediocre. The flavors fell flat, they used frozen vegetables, and the chicken appeared to be boiled, not seared.

3/5 cause we got pretty bad stomachs after but during our time there the food was TOO tasty to stop and we enjoyed eating it there. The place looked clean and it was nice but not sure why we got sick after!

I’ve been coming to The Lime for almost 20 years! Since it opened its doors at the location near Mount Pleasant and Eglinton. That location closed but the one on Yonge st is ever bit as good! The staff all came over I believe or most did- and they are all wonderful people. The food is fantastic- it’s all really delicious and has great serving sizes. I haven’t eaten a dish I don’t like tbh. And I’m always stuffed when I leave! The atmosphere is inviting and welcoming. It’s one of my 3 favourite restaurants in Toronto and I come from Scarborough to eat there regularly. Thanks for being such a great place to eat and hosting many anniversaries and birthdays over the years!Check it out and try the Penang Chicken curry! So delicious!

Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options!

We went their for the first time today on Easter for dinner we were two adults and two kids. The food quality is not at par as other Thai restaurants. Both the Shrimps and Chicken quality was sub standard. Also, the quantities are way too less in comparison to other restaurants or the prices that they are charging. Their wok Dishes are about $20 plus tax without any rice included. Each dish was enough for one person not for sharing.Mentioned it to the server as well that the quantity of each dish is less and for veggies in every dish they used onions, bell peppers at Max broccoli. No other specific or exotic vegetables were used again in comparison to other restaurants. We ended up wasting our $140.00

The food was good but the server was a little vague about portion sizes when we asked if we could share one she lightly pushed us to get two main instead of a main and appetizer and we ended up getting two mains but one would have been enough. Then when I got one tea which came in a teapot she refused to give another cup because I wasn’t allowed to share as it was for one, which made no sense to me as it’s my tea I should be allowed to do what I want with it as I’ll be paying for it.
