At first arrival to Toronto, one needed a cold drink, as one usually does. With Liquid Courage being right next door to our hotel, we gave it a shot. And are we glad we did. The staff were so welcoming and super nice to talk to. The cocktails were amazing and atmosphere impeccable. It was so good, we just had to go back 2 more times in our short visit. Although it's busy(and I can see why), I recommend going a little earlier to talk with the amazing staff. Absolutely love you guys, and we can't wait to see you in August when we come back.

Exquisite vibe and spacious compared to most speakeasys. Wasn't crowded when we went but service was quite slow and nothing about the drinks stood out. Overall was a fun time still

What a beautiful experience both my boyfriend and I got to enjoy. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful and romantic. Hidden underneath Mothers Tongue is a stunning speakeasy that serves perfectly curated drinks and small sharables for everyone to enjoy. I forgot our servers name but he made sure my partner and I were well taken care of. We were feeling spontaneous and got the dealers choice and he absolutely kicked it out of the park! My boyfriend loved it so much he ordered it a total of 3 times 😭 Also you MUST try their General Tao Bao… an airy soft bao bun, crunchy chicken with the perfect amount of sauce… heavenly 🥹 Perfect for an intimate date night. Definitely adding this one to the books !
