We had experienced the Guerlain high tea last year and we were blown away. This festive high tea fell far short of the mark . The food was good and service attentive but the presentation was absolutely dismall! Last year w enjoyed the high tea in the six floor bar and lounge; this year we were relegated to the ground floor « living room ». When other hotels offer very festive high teas and environments, W Hotel Toronto missed opportunity and made it bland and mediocre... I've been to several W Hotels around the work and Toronto is definitely off brand Lost a customer at Toronto location

Over priced for little food. Not the warm living room they advertised. Slow service and very uncomfortable seating. Did not waste your money.

The Living Room at the W Toronto is easily one of my favourite lounges in the city. The atmosphere has excellent music and perfect lighting, making it feel alive but relaxed. The cocktails are top-tier (the mixologists know what they’re doing), and the small plates are creative and delicious, especially the Korean fried chicken!

Yenzi, our server, was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, and the team clearly cares about the guest experience. Whether you’re there for a casual drink, a date night, or to unwind after work, it’s the place that makes you want to stay a bit longer.

I highly recommend it if you’re looking for an upscale yet comfortable spot with great energy and flawless execution.

I had the pleasure of attending a company function at The Living Room at the W Hotel Toronto, and the entire evening felt like something out of a film set. We were lucky enough to have half of the space reserved, with access to both the interior and the outdoor terrace.

The inside was beautifully designed, modern, sleek, and inviting, with bold architectural lines, plush seating, and eye-catching lighting. It’s the kind of place that immediately sets the mood for a special evening. But stepping outside was where the magic really happened. The terrace was spectacular: long banquet tables dressed in black linens, set under elegant pergolas, surrounded by greenery. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between upscale sophistication and natural charm, creating a cinematic backdrop for dinner.

The food was just as impressive as the setting. I ordered the braised beef short rib, and it was outstanding; fall-apart tender, with a rich sauce that paired beautifully with the creamy mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. The balance of fattiness and lean meat was spot on, and every bite was deeply flavorful. I also sampled the wild mushroom stuffed chicken breast, which was equally memorable: juicy, tender, and elevated by the truffle potato purée and spiced jus. Dessert closed the night on a high note. The apple tart was delicate yet decadent, paired with smooth sunchoke vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of dulce de leche that tied everything together.

The entire evening showcased how The Living Room excels at combining luxurious design, impeccable ambiance, and refined cuisine. It’s not just a hotel lounge, it’s an experience. Whether you’re there for an intimate dinner, a cocktail with friends, or a large group gathering, this space leaves an impression you won’t forget.

We had afternoon tea at the W, the tower has sandwiches and sweets, while keeping it simple, they were delicious with good selection of tea. The space is really nice and surprisingly but very much appreciated, was not busy and quiet with low level of music. Service was great with very attentive waiter. Price is comparable to most. Great experience. Will come back after their renovation and try their new afternoon menu.

The server was friendly and courteous. I enjoyed the food, but it wasn't anything to write songs about. The deal breaker here is the ambience. The place feels very outdated and dull. The utensils used to serve the tea and present the food are generic; neither authentic nor super modern, which is what you'd expect from the W brand.

Playfully colourful modern interior with plush seating and 'nightclub' glam vibe. Landed a quiet window table with a view of the nicely appointed outdoor/patio space before the weekday lunch rush. Cornish hen was wonderful - juicy and flavourful. Would definitely recommend.

Good breakfast, good service, all of the chairs are comfortable if you want to lay back but uncomfortable if you need to eat breakfast. I did not like a 15% tip being automatically added to my bill. Also, there was no written disclosure on the menu that a 15% tip would be added to the bill.

If you're looking for the perfect mix of stunning atmosphere, incredible food, and top-tier service, WToronto absolutely delivers 10/10 across the board! The Living Room band set the perfect tone for the evening, lively, soulful, and engaging. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was immaculate. But the real showstopper? The Skylight Rooftop! breathtaking views that elevate your entire experience. It's the kind of space you want to soak in for hours. The food and cocktails were 110%. Every bite and sip was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and perfectly curated. Huge shoutout to our server Sydney, who gave the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. He recommended some of the best cocktails I've ever had and went above and beyond with his attention to detail and care throughout the evening. The ambience? 110% as well. Whether you're out for a night with friends, a date, or just want to treat yourself, this place is a must. Already planning my next visit. I'd recommend WToronto to anyone who loves beautiful spaces, great vibes, and amazing food.

My family and I had a great experience at the W Hotel's Mother's Day afternoon tea service! We really appreciated the special touch of the takeaway gift, and we thought the food was excellent. We also appreciated how kind and attentive our servers were. Thank you!

The service was very memorable. Our server was super kind and helpful throughout the visit. He was professional and courteous and took pride in serving each course. He even went out of his way to take many photos. I very much enjoyed the luxurious modern take on traditional high tea. It was a delightful afternoon, and the decor, food, and service were all A+.
