How is there always only one person working the deli section? The wait is ridiculous. I can see why she comes off as miserable.
Only one person works in the kitchen and every single time they make you wait for a long time and keep ignoring you.
Every week I see prices jumping up, most often in increments of 50 cents, for no good reason. Why is this happening? Inflation is over!
In the span of about one month they have twice increased the price for a 1.4l bottle of Pom Wonderful (Pomegranate juice) from 14.00 to 15.00, then 15.99 dollars, while at Costco the price stayed the same, 12.99 for a larger 1.8l bottle.
Horrible experience every time I go. Prices go up every week. Staff is so rude and never want to help customers. Especially the woman at the deli counter and another women that works at the help desk (on multiple occasions. The fruit and vegetable quality is never good but the prices keep going up. Don't bother with this location.
Their washroom was so dirty and disgusting. The door hook was broken and the toilet paper holder was also broken. Apparently,
nobody is looking after those things and it was worse than parks’ public washrooms. When you see the washrooms, you would know their hygiene and customer service’s spirit.
I used to shop here on a regular basis as it’s right across the street from me, but I won’t be stepping foot in this store again. First, the produce is poor. Veg/fruit never look appealing and they’re still selling it at regular price. Time after time I have encountered racist staff (mainly white women) who are extremely chatty with everyone but as soon as they cash me out, it’s CRICKETS. No hello, no eye contact, just cold energy and a strong will to say absolutely nothing to me. As if I threatened their entire bloodline lol. Today around 6:45 it happened to me yet again in at the 3rd checkout lane. Said hello, no response. Asked for a bag, she silently put it in. I had enough and told her I’m just going to do self checkout instead. The only thing she said to me was “can I have the bag back”. Not saying I was entitled to her energy, but to see her engaging with the white customer in front of me and then feel the shift in her energy towards me was irritating to say the least. This is not a one time thing, this has happened to me and others more times than I can count. There are people in my building who are aware of this and instead go to the Nofrills up the street or an individual grocer. I would much rather go out of my way than ever shop here again.
Just wanted to say a special thank you to Matthew, the florist, for helping me arrange a beautiful bouquet for my mom today. My mom loved the bouquet and I really appreciated his friendly service and attention to detail.
Amazing ng when you walk to an empty deli counter with three employees behind it. Get waved off for five minutes, and then get told I aint need this job, and I ain't gon get fired anyway. good luck.
Older woman, short dark hair, glasses, and a mask. She’s not only a cashier but often oversees self-checkout or works on the floor. Sadly, each time I’ve had to deal with her, it’s been an uncomfortable, almost hostile experience that leaves me wondering why she’s in a customer-facing role if she seems to resent it so much.
Every interaction with her feels like an inconvenience to her. When I try to scan my points card, she won’t help unless my phone is positioned exactly as she demands, rather than simply assisting. Changing my payment method is met with a frustrated, “Now I have to redo your whole payment,” as if it’s unreasonable to ask. Even receiving change is made awkward—she places it on the scanner rather than handing it to me, despite my hand being outstretched. And when I was bagging my groceries, she rushed me by shoving my items down the belt, nearly pushing them off the edge, despite there being no one in line behind me.
If interacting with people is truly this difficult for her, perhaps a non-customer-facing role would be better suited. Loblaws, I urge you to look into this, as her attitude is driving loyal customers like myself away. I come here to shop comfortably, expecting basic respect, but instead, I’m made to feel unwelcome and even burdensome. This behavior does not align with the values I expect from your store, and I sincerely hope this issue is addressed.
I went to buy the chicken tender meal deal and realized not only did it go up in price, but the chicken was not cooked and pink inside.

Massively overpriced on the whole, and quality seems to have declined in fresh veg/fruit/meat lately in spite of rising prices. Rude staff who don’t have bags for meat at the checkouts (when the meat section was not adequately stocked with them and chicken is badly packed and leaks) Was scolded for taking to long to pack while other customers were waiting, loudly in front of them, when I was clearly struggling and I had waited patiently for the people in front of me that were taking their sweet time packing and bragging about their recent holiday. Which is fine, I waited patiently. Everyone deserves to feel respected and not rushed and told off. Perhaps if you had more than 2 cashiers on they wouldn’t feel so pressed. That being said your staff could use some etiquette and equality training (Constance) I have an invisible disability and sometimes need more time. I shouldn’t have to say anything to be afforded that. And I certainly shouldn’t be publicly embarrassed by a staff member. Going to start going elsewhere since this incident. I only shop here for pure convenience anyway and now I have less reason to want to.
Loblaws fails to deliver on both quality and value. Their exorbitant prices are matched only by the disappointing quality of their products. Every purchase feels like a waste, as the food is simply not worth consuming. Don't bother spending your hard-earned money here; you'll regret it with every bite.
My recent visit to Loblaws was a bit frustrating due to the inconsistent availability of baskets. There were times when I couldn't find one easily, which made shopping a bit inconvenient.
In general, this store is clean and the staff is friendly. But the prices... it is a rip off.
Worse grocery store experience. No baskets available for customers. They make you push a cart up a conveyor belt. The cleaning person, at rush hours decides to run the auto scrubber at the entrance blocking the access and creating a back up of trolleys trying to get off the conveyer belt and no where to go. Staff are completely unaware and uninterested ism. Remedying the situation. Once in the store if you don’t have a cart you are out of luck. Carry what you can in your arms and cope.helped keep my grocery bill down. To cash out… good luck with the wait and the service. Huge line up for registers… as if they went expecting that many people to show up! Staff are in courteous, pushy and prefer not to make eye contact in case, heaven forbid, a customer might ask them for help. Brutal!!
I’m a regular at this location as it comes on my way to work and back. Today I had the worst experience. I had a quick question and saw Paula around the self checkout when I asked her the question, she kept walking and ignoring me. When I confronted her on why is she not even acknowledging me she said “I’ve to go to work” to which I said I’m a customer at your workplace and she said go talk to someone else. I understand if she were busy and would have just told me to find someone else to help me but instead she kept ignoring me. This is not even customer service I’m asking for. This is basic human decency which she lacked. Please hire people who are nice and actually like working instead of such rude and hating people. I’d rather inconvenience myself and go to the one at DuPont then dealing with such attitude.
