Plenty of televisions to watch sporting events situated around for viewing for all tables and bar areas. Offering reservations is great, not showing up and have standing room only.

Had an excellent friday business lunch here! Food was excellent, including a really good veggie burger. Service was leisurely but we didn't mind, and overall a really good lunch!

We were at two tables pushed together for a party of 7 when we had reserved seating upstairs for a work birthday event. There were booths and tables big enough for our party downstairs as well, but we were put in two and it was hard for one side of the table to speak with the other side. The seating wasn't big enough and wasn't in an appropriate area for the event we planned, the reason we chose the restaurant was for the upstairs seating. The server was lovely and offered us 2 complementary appetizers which was nice, but the table wasn't good. Would not return in this case unfortunately. We liked the food for the most part but the Caesar salad was spicy and we had a team member that doesn't like spice so could not eat it. We swapped our drink order from 2 gin refreshers to have vodka instead of gin there was $4 added to each drink price and we weren't told, so over $18 per drink. We were not asked how our experience was to give feedback.

Perhaps I didn't pay close enough attention to the Open Table pics. We're from out of town and didn't realize this is a sports bar. As sports bars go, the food was average. I had fish and chips and the chips were cold (they quickly made a fresh serving). We sat at the bar and the bar tender didn't know what was on tap.

We had Christmas Eve dinner at LOCAL Public Eatery – Adelaide and it was such a lovely start to the evening. The room is beautiful, the service was friendly and attentive, and everything felt easy and welcoming. We loved the zero-proof drinks — especially the Paloma and Spicy Guava Placebo. They were refreshing and thoughtfully made, and the Mango Bubble Tease completely won over the kids with the popping boba. The food really delivered. Crispy pavé potatoes were perfectly done, and the cheese pierogies tasted truly authentic. For mains, the enchiladas had great flavour and just the right amount of heat without feeling heavy. The portobello mushroom pizza was my favourite — super thin, light, and airy. The regular pie pizza was also very enjoyable. We finished with the warm apple cobbler, complete with cinnamon apples, walnut caramel, and vanilla ice cream. A cozy, satisfying end to a great meal. We'd absolutely come back.

Fantastic food, wonderful staff, great location. We had dinner, drinks, and dessert. Perfect before taking in the ballet. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was a positive one. So happy we stumbled across this restaurant.

We had a great time and great experience at LOCAL. We were a large group (around 20) and came mainly for drinks. The hosting team were very accommodating and our waitresses were very professional. The drink options during the after 10pm Happy Hour were great too! We would be back

The food was amazing and our server was diligent with the food specifications. The staff was friendly, made our gathering special by offering top notch recommendations and we got to celebrate a birthday with a special dessert offered. What a fun night and the food was on point!

Food was terrific and arrived in timely matter. Service was impeccable and attentive. All four of us had a wonderful experience.

We all had a good experience! They were very adaptable with our numbers changing, and our server was very friendly (I missed her name because of the volume). And the cocktails were delicious! Would recommend!

This place was perfect for a Saturday lunch. Not busy but still a good number of people enjoying the location. Service and food were very good.

First time eating here and would recommend it for a place to meet friends for drinks and food. The service was outstanding ... which considering it was early Thursday evening during the holiday season is really exceptional. Will definitely return.

I ordered the eggs Benedict. The meal was lukewarm at best when it arrived. The hollandaise was the worst I've ever had. Though our waitress was great, given the reviews this place had, it was well below our expectation and below the standard of simple food available in the same geographic area.

I hosted my company Christmas dinner at Local last evening and I have to say it was top notch. As soon as I walked in, they were welcoming from the hostess, our server, manager and others. They even helped me pull off a surprise for my colleagues with customized tumblers I had and even though they don't sell hot chocolate, they made a batch especially for us to fill for our walk to Nathan Philips Square - so accommodating. I recommend this place for a dinner or party 100%. Thanks so much for making it a great night for us!
