Rice was definitely not up to sushi standard, it was way too wet and soft. Fish portions are decent. Avocado chunks are big. Soy sauce is a little untraditionally sweet but I liked it. Decent service.

Everything was made from scratch! OMG that is what I called fresh food ? We paid $55.80, for 2, with tips. All their rolls and hand rolls are delicious... We will go back there for sure ?

Sushi on Gerrard came very highly recommended to me but I had a tough time contacting the restaurant. Apparently it has recently reopened at a new location and hasn’t fully updated its web site. It has a bit more information on Facebook but that didn’t help me. Eventually I was able to contact Sushi on Gerrard and had some great food delivered. Fresh shiitake mushrooms sautéed with garlic butter and soy sauce, being a hot dish, were OK and would have been better eaten at the restaurant instead of being delivered. The Scallop Roll, Dynamite Roll, Godzilla Roll and especially the Spider Roll were excellent. We would, and very likely will, order from Sushi on Gerrard again on this visit to Toronto.

I love this place! They prepare marvelous food, their menu is varied, The chef in that spot is very trained, I love a lot tasting all their dishes. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, the service towards the visitors is good. I often eat in this place and I was never disappointed. I recommend this place.
