Amazing patio! Service is always friendly,; our server offered me great advice about beer. The poutine is without a doubt one of the best I've had in my 30 years living in Toronto. Hand cut fries, slightly undercooked to preserve a taste of potato, slightly peppery gravy. If they sold that gravy, I may buy it by the gallon . 🤤

We went on a Tuesday with half-price wings. It was great. They also include the dipping sauce on the side if you need it. I highly recommend the sweet and sassy and the lemon pepper one.

Great patio, stellar service - terrible food.
It’s like I have amnesia every time I walk into this place. The good vibes and good service always have me forgetting how below average eating here is. It’s really not that hard to make nachos - cheese whiz is bush league and just throwing half a jar of jalapeños with a couple slivers of onion isn’t worth $18.
Woulda thought you’d figure out how to make decent food in 25 years 🤷🏻♂️

Popped in here with some friends today for the pop-up Indigenous food lunch. I had the bison gravy on fry bread and it was delicious! My friends had the duck eggs Benedict on rainbow trout and the venison sirloin with bannock respectively and their food slapped too.
There was also an elderberry soda that I drank two of! I hope they do more stuff like this!

Loons Pub is a fantastic spot with great vibes and friendly service. Their wings are a must-try, and the patio is perfect for relaxing with friends. They’ve got solid drink specials that make it easy to stay a while.

You've just had the best freaking chicken wings of your life. The music? So on point, great jams all night long, not a single bop was missed. The staff? Friendly as heck. AND THE BEST freaking chicken wings myself and my boyfriend have ever had. Perfectly crispy, saucy, juicy. Gawd dayum. 10/10.

Loons was the last stop on my tour of the venues in the Roncesvalles area, and the service I received from our server—Emma—made it a final destination to remember. My friend and I had decided to enjoy a little pub crawl across the various venues in Roncesvalles. I have positive things to say about each of the locations I visited that day: Loons specifically provided my friend and me with a gorgeous back patio whose décor and seating made the evening feel much like having a beer on a cottage deck somewhere in Tiny Beaches—a pleasant respite from the bustle of Toronto’s howling streets. While the location’s patio provided a cottage-like décor that was more than pleasant, the location also provided something that a hidden, tucked-away lake-deck located somewhere in Ontario’s cottage country would not—Emma.
Upon our arrival, Emma greeted my friend and me with a smile. Her demeanor was pleasant, warm, and inviting. When I had questions about Loons’ spicy pickle fries or perogies, Emma had the answers I needed to make a choice. When I wanted to know about the pub’s beers on tap, Emma was able to suggest a refreshing local draft. Similarly, when I came to crave a bittersweet cocktail later in the evening, Emma navigated my indecision with a friendly and decisive touch that helped me land on a particularly delicious and bracing negroni. She knew when to joke and what to suggest, providing the pleasant décor with a personalized and hospitable presence. Emma may have greeted my friend and me with a smile, but thanks to her service, my friend and I left Loons wearing grins of our own.
