We came for the winterlicious menu and it definitely not disappointed. Food was delicious and they have an amazing cocktail menu, probably the best Negroni I've had in a while. We were very pleased with service as well considering our reservation was really late. The restaurant decor is absolutely stunning
Very disappointing, made to wait for 15 minutes for our table and another hostess asked us what we were waiting for! Maitrd so aloof/arrogant: didn't greet us or ask how the food was while we were waiting for our coats; got our second course 8 minutes after our first course arrived and while we were still having our first dish. Quality of food just average. That was a Winterlicious meal and I thought the intent was to entice diners to go back for the regular menu but I'll never go back.
Food was excellent. Macallan Flight was very expensive for what it was, with not so aged selection.
Everything was wonderful! The staff was great. The food and drinks were delicious. Thank you for an outstanding time!
Fantastic. Love the ambience and food. Enjoyed the Winterlicious menu. I dine here 4-5 times/year. Will try weekend brunch soon.
Had a fantastic meal with colleagues, our waiter (Cameron) was amazing and got us an off menu dessert that was just fab. Would recommend this place hands down.
Our dinner main dishes was taking so long to serve between meal which interrupted with our appetizer from first course and second. Just waiting too long than usual and our server was all over the place and lost our order note and needed to retake order again. First course was serve before bread.
Maybe this was due to the winterlicious rush, but we waited close to 10 minutes for water. Service in general was slow and lacking.
Great breakfast to end a nice stay at the St. Regis. Wish we had more time at the hotel. The individuals providing services were awesome. They were all so nice and would help even when not necessary. The food was so tasty and the menu had something for anyone. The mushroom omelette was so good and they were flexible to replace the Brie with Feta. Such a memorable time.
Food was very good (but maybe not excellent) - Soup was lukewarm on delivery and the lamb rack was very good but not incredible. Desert was top notch and the lobster mash was also outstanding. Scallops appetizer was excellent. Service was wonderful and the ambience was also very good. Overall, it was a good dining experience but for the price, I wanted to be blown away and I wasn't. I was happy with the experience but not blown away.

The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and the bar looks especially nice but the seating is not very intimate you are shoulder to shoulder with another couple on average and the price of your meal compared to the quantity of food is too high. I had the braised short rib with mashed potatoes and vegetables and it wasn't much better than I could make at home but the portion was fit for a five year-old boy not an adult
Great to experience this with winterliscious. Ambiance was great and wait staff was very welcoming. prices for this place reasonable with the winter promo.
Received an email directly from the restaurant offering to change my reservation time to an earlier time, which I thought was inappropriate considering my reservation time was booked in advance. If they overbooked or a larger group , even a smaller group is trying to schedule their reservation, maybe they should been offered to take the earlier time. I should not have been offered to rearrange my reservation to accommodate another patron.
I visited during Winterlicious and unfortunately the experience didn't live up to expectations. Several items from the Winterlicious menu were already sold out, which was disappointing since that was the main reason for the visit. The wait time for food was also quite long. Service was polite, but overall attentiveness and pacing could definitely be improved, especially during a special event like this when many guests are coming specifically for the featured menu. With better preparation and smoother service, the experience could be much better.
I booked a Winterlicious Promo as a trail, to see if it's worth a return visit. This would be a HARD PASS. Reservation booked on the first night of the promo at 7:30 for 6ppl for a table, (not lounge seating). Our table was not ready, so drinks was had at the bar - which was fine. We were seated about 7:40pm seating at a lounge table - lower than regular table, and not proper dining height really, I kept sinking into the plush couch. We were than informed Fois Gras, Duck, and Cheesecake were already sold out and not available - which is really my reason for selecting Louix Louis for a Birthday celebration. Only the dessert had other selections offered, but no alternate for appetizer OR the main. As a hotel restaurant, I am surprised that the planning is this poor!! This is your first night of the Promo. The restaurant is best described as chaotic at best. Wait staff constantly just running back and forth very busy, not enjoyable busy. Long wait time on each course of the meal; understandable it's a promo, but execution miss the mark. With our meal, we ordered 3 bottles of wine. My husband's Beef Short Ribs - missing the sauce, had to ask for sauce. Plating - off centered, need more mash to the short rib; not sure if the mash was running low too. Soup - good, but so little. Scallops as entree - it was more of an appetizer size. Dessert, King's chocolate cake just bare on the plate, no effort plating - a fruit sauce would've finished it nicely - presentation. Please re-think participating in Winterlicious promo if your execution is not 100%, or close to. It's almost as if the restaurant did not want to participate in the promo but was 'told' to. Our waiter didn't ask how our meal was.... until the bill. The Manager - didn't notice him checking/greeting tables or vibing with the room. Washroom was never refreshed and in bad condition. Again, you're a hotel restaurant with Housekeeping onsite??! I've had way better service at The Keg on York St. - yes, The Keg.
