I like the diversity of options here. Even during COVID, they had 2 stations open - a Japanese station & a Mexican station which allowed us to pick what we wanted

I love the fried chicken, especially their sweet and hot sauce. The taste is a combination of KFC and Korean fried chicken (also 'KFC'), more moist than KFC and less sweet than their Korean counterpart. The batter is not thick and the chicken is fresh and tender. However I have to point out, the fried chicken is at the pricier end. I usually order 5 piece chicken or 3 piece chicken with brussel sprouts, and end up paying over $20.

Wow! I've only ever had the chicken sandwich here, but it's going to be hard to try and make it past that to anything else on the menu. Two pieces of fried chicken lathered in honey spicy sauce and ranch dressing. The flavours just work so well together and this has to be right at the top of the list for one of the best chicken sandwiches in the city. I only had the sandwich on its own and that was enough for lunch. I was a bit worried that it was overpriced but I couldn't have been more wrong and it's worth every cent. Lunchtimes can be busy here but these guys have the system running like clockwork and I wasn't waiting for much more than 5 minutes. Just awesome.

Situated inside the assembly hall, you walk through a myriad of smaller individual shops that sell fast food. But this isn't quite fast food, it's glorified fast food that it's on the upper scale. Kinda like a high end good truck. Nice place with shared seating. Had Crispy fried chicken in a bun. Very flavourful, worth a visit. Price was ok for what you get.

I have been trying most chicken sandwich places in Toronto and decided to give this one a try when I came to Assembly Chef’s Hall. The chicken sandwich was delicious, the perfect combination of savory and sweet, however it was very small compared to Chica’s or PG Clucks and way more expensive. I would say it’s good but probably not worth that much for the price. We also got the tandoori chicken bowl which was pretty different from the one you get at Indian restaurants. It was a bowl of the curry with two tiny pieces of naan bread or so, definitely needs to come with more bread.
Pretty good if you like sauced chicken. Is there an option for no sauce? I'm not sure, so it should be clearly stated if so. I'm not fan of sauced fried chicken, but it was still alright. Too much sauce on the sandwich. The chicken should be the main event, not sauce. Fries were damn good though.

No one takes cash here, though apparently you can pay at the entrance bar and bring back your receipt to where you're buying food.
