Very very nice restaurant with a french chef and a french sommelier. The flavours are wonderful, very nice association. One of the Best non star Michelin we ever tried. We think this restaurant should have one Michelin star. Thanks to the sommelier, we discovered very good canadien wines. A very very nice moment. A restaurant to discover.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable culinary experience, Lucie Restaurant is where you need to be! The highlight of my evening was definitely the Pithivier experience.
The attention to detail at Lucie Restaurant shines through not only in the food but also in the service. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about their offerings, which made the whole experience feel special.
If you’re even remotely a fan of fine dining, do not miss the Pithivier experience when you visit. It’s worth every bite, and it's an experience that elevates the entire meal. Lucie also offers five courses and seven courses tasting menu.

I felt compelled to write this because the experience was that bad. We will not be returning nor would I recommend.
We booked our reservation through Google, and they couldn’t find it. They did accommodate us, but that set the stage for what was to come. The service was a marathon — 3.5 hours for 5 courses. I have legitimately gone to baseball games shorter than how long this took.
• 30 minutes before we got water. (And they only brought it for one of us)
• 45 minutes before we saw a menu.
• 50 minutes before anyone asked if we wanted a drink.
At first I thought they just forgot about us. But no, it was everyone. And it’s not even like the restaurant was rammed with an overwhelming number of people. It was a disrespectful wreck.
The pacing was painful: dishes arrived about every 40 minutes. This might be forgivable if the food was exceptional, but most of it was lacklustre. Like the definition of okay. The very first canapé tasted stale, and unfortunately, that became the theme of the night.
Why did every dish need a sauce poured tableside? It was cool the first time, but not all sauces worked — some made the food worse or outright soggy. The best dish was dessert, but honestly, that may have been because it signaled the end of the ordeal.
For the price point, this level of service is unacceptable. Horrendous. Even a casual restaurant should operate more smoothly.
Lots of better restaurants at this price point.

What an absolutely incredible experience. The food was next level...best foie gras I've ever had. The ambience was perfect. But the best part of the evening? The service. The entire team made the experience, and by extension, the food...fun, light, and unique.
Highly recommend.

When I walked into Lucie, I felt the warmth and ease immediately from the entire staff. The service is impeccable, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without pretension. Every server I interacted with struck that perfect balance of professionalism and genuine personality. It’s rare to find a place where you can feel the pride of ownership in every detail, and at Lucie, that pride is paired with generosity. Owner Yannick sets the tone. He was a fantastic host and added some tips to Toronto that turned out to be golden.
When I let them know of my preference for non-beef, they didn’t hesitate and made the change from bison to trout. No discussion. No “let me check with the manager”. They just did it with graciousness, as if it were no trouble at all. That’s the kind of hospitality that sticks with you.
As for the food, the Chef’s tasting menu (I tried the Emotion menu) was extremely thoughtful and added flavors, the combination of which, were delicious.
The L’Amuse Bouche “du Jour” set the stage and each plate afterward was bright, playful, and full of bold taste. From the Scallops, to the Snapper, every hit just right. The desserts, La Griotta and La Banane had insane flavor profiles.
Lucie is what happens when a chef cooks with confidence and creativity, an owner hosts with heart, and a team delivers service that feels effortless.

We chose Lucie as a last-minute choice as we just got into the city. In the end, we had one of the most incredible meals we’ve had in the past few years. The attention to detail on the food was impeccable. But what was more inviting was that they were out of a certain wine and substituted it with a better one. Each dish is explained to you and the flavors were incredible. If high quality, interesting ingredients, respectful, service, and an overall magnificent experience is something you’re having trouble finding. I highly recommend you check them out. I live in Manhattan and wish our servers were this courteous lol

We tried the 7-course tasting menu at Lucie. Overall, the food was good, but unfortunately it didn’t include the Wellington steak we were hoping for.
The biggest downside was the pace of service. We arrived at 7:45 pm and didn’t finish until close to midnight. Each cocktail pairing came out well before the next dish, so by the time the food arrived (often 20 minutes later), the ice had melted.
What made the experience more bearable was our server, Eric. He was incredibly patient, attentive, and detailed in his explanations — his professionalism helped offset a lot of the frustration from the long wait.
As for the dishes:
Appetizers (tuna tartare & scallop) were underwhelming — the seafood didn’t pair well with the sauces.
Foie gras was excellent — juicy and flavorful, though the soup with shrimp had a slightly strong fishy note.
Bison main course was outstanding — tender, no gaminess, and well-balanced in flavor.
Desserts were surprisingly delightful — not overly sweet, with a clever balance of chocolate, fruit, and bitterness. The banana dessert was light and satisfying, while the caviar pairing with dessert was unexpected and surprisingly delicious.
Overall, a mixed experience: good food highlights, but very slow pacing. Thanks to Eric’s outstanding service, I’d still give it 4 stars.

For our 2nd visit to Lucie we decided to attend the collab event with Hexagon. Our visit could be described with dishes full of complex aromas, creamy textures, and umami flavours. But, at the end of the day, no words could truly describe the amazing food, and excellent service we had throughout the experience. Looking forward to future collab events and fall tasting menu.

The food was incredible. I have eaten at many Michelin rated 1/2 star restaurants around the world and this was better. Top 3 meals of my life, and I live in Montreal and would consider myself an experienced foodie. Our server, Remi, was impeccable. Have the 5 or 7 course meal and you won’t regret it. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough.
