This place is top notch!
The crunchy coockie crust bao filled with custards, chicken puff and deep fried crab meat bun are some of my favs but most of the stuff in this place is solid and very well priced.
You won't regret eating here!

I bought 2 egg tarts yesterday from this bakery(not even during the end-of-day sale) and they go bad today, even though I kept them in the fridge the whole time…I have to throw them away…purely waste of money

I decided to visit this location since I’m a regular at their Markham branch. While I’ve always found their prices higher than other Asian bakeries, their milk tea is definitely worth the extra cost, so I’ve been happy to pay more for their buns. Unfortunately, this location needs some improvement.
BUNS were disappointing—they were flat, likely underproofed, and unevenly baked. The texture of the bread was also off, lacking the usual fluffiness, which again points to underproofing. Even the outer layer of the bun was unevenly baked, with some parts more browned than others.
TEA - On the plus side, the milk tea was still delicious.
CLEANLINESS - the self-serve area for customizing your drink was poorly maintained. The sugar spoon was dirty, the sugar container was nearly empty, and the lid didn’t fit properly on the cup, which led to spills—definitely something to watch out for.
SERVICE - there was no greeting, no smile—just the typical indifferent attitude you’d expect from a young staff member who didn’t seem to want to be there. The dirty counters also reflected this lack of enthusiasm.
OVERALL- this visit was a letdown. I’m surprised the franchise allows such poor product quality and service under their brand. Hopefully, they can address these issues soon.
Didn’t take any pictures of the bins to post here, cause I was busy cleaning the tea stains off my white tshirt.

Why is it that everytime we order on UberEats, they say they don’t actually have the rice available despite listing it? Half the time they say that AFTER the order has been placed.
If you can’t offer it consistently, don’t list it!
Done supporting this BS.

Keep going back for the chiffon cake with apricot jam filling! It’s delicious and diabetic friendly.

Gorgeous packaging. I love how each individual pastries are sealed. Why the 1 star? Because I cannot bring myself to eat most of them. They STINK!! And yes, all food has scent but the smell is supposed to be inviting, one that tempts you to eat said food. When something smells revolting, need I say more? Very nauseating just sniffing them. I kept them for a while to see if the smell will dissipate but NOPE!! The stench was resistantly present. The mocchi was the only thing that wasn't stinky and smelled like actual food to eat and it tasted good. I made the mistake of forcing myself to ingest one of the others and nausea immediately reared its ugly head. That's what you get for going against nature. When your nose dislikes something, you don't put it in your mouth. I spent a lot of money on their pastries which is why I FORCED myself with everything in me to take a bite of one of the others. Lesson learned. Money wasted.

Does not accept $5 bills
This is my go to bakery. I really like their buns and tarts. But today i found a small piece of plastic (not sure what it was) in the coffee bun. Luckily i found that piece before i swallowed it. Hope that was the only piece because i've already had more than half of the bun :(

They have good coconut buns. A little on the small size , but the filling is very good. $2.95 each. Don’t go too early, barely anything is cooked before 9am

Went to their store at first and there were a bunch of flies flying on the bread cuz the lids were open? The crab meat bao tasted GREAT, but what’s the problem is the beef curry bao, cuz why did it taste extremely BITTER and spicy, like in no way is this curry, I was questioning my taste buds, and my family tried it and they just shoot them into the garbage cuz the taste was unbearable 💀, and the prices are kinda expensive (chat I’m a broke student), so ig it depends on what pastries you get, but the service is nice ig (it would be better if the signs contained like the ingredients tho, like ik you can always go up and ask, but it be more convenient and also for ppl who have allergies :)
