This is my go to bakery. I really like their buns and tarts. But today i found a small piece of plastic (not sure what it was) in the coffee bun. Luckily i found that piece before i swallowed it. Hope that was the only piece because i've already had more than half of the bun :(
Bought a large Hong Kong Style milk tea and a Hong Kong Style Coconut Bun (雞尾包) for $9.65. Wanted to pay with cash to avoid transaction fees as I was travelling, but they didn’t have enough change. This bakery was rather small and does not have a ton of selections for buns, but if you’re looking for the typical buns that a Hong Kong bakery has, they have them. The crunchy coockie crust bao filled with custards, chicken puff and deep fried crab meat bun are some of my favs but most of the stuff in this place is solid and very well priced.
