HANDS DOWN the tastiest Ethiopian food in town after having tried many on the Danforth and downtown. We always gravitate back to Lucy. Bigger portion size and homey customer service too.

I had the Cha-Cha, it was delicious.

They served it with what I can only describe as “if a tortilla dreamed of being a spongecake

THE BEST! We have been to several Ethiopian restaurants in Toronto and Lucy is by far the tastiest, most generous on serving size, and the friendliest service. Cozy, homey ambiance. Do stay for the traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony. You do need to drive down the Danforth a little further to get to it by well worth it.

As an aside, avoid Ethiopian House downtown. Just so bad in every way possible.

The prices here are really good. I also enjoy the decor. I recommend the veggie platter. You could even split it with someone and still have enough to eat.

Lucy is a quaint little place to enjoy some heartwarming Ethiopian food, the meat and veggie platter is a good way to enjoy all the flavours with Injera. Also their chicken witb injeta is also delicious! They have limited staff so there might be a small delay, but a little consideration will get you a homely meal and homely warm service

Such a homely place. I tried Ethiopian food for the first time and had the best time here. Lucy was so friendly and welcoming. If you’re missing home, you should definitely try this place. The food is amazing! We tried the platter and lentils were top notch.

it was 10/10!!! me and my mom had such a nice experience there yesterday. The food was absolutely to die forr!! if your hesitating on going well i'm telling you GO! cause I 100% recommend!!
