I really enjoyed my time. I did notice that there was 2 sweet 16 gatherings so thos night was a bit of a disappointment with so many young teens in one night but other times we're great 👍
Myself and my brother went to Lula lounge were we brought my niece to a 16 th birthday party . Made a reservation on open table after being told on the phone that they were completely booked . Bad communication. There was one server on the second level where we were . She did her best but they could have used another . The food is portioned controlled because of the 69.00 per person fee. It was good but not great . I was expecting more from this place . My first time there and quite honestly probably my last . In a nutshell. Service was slow , drinks are watered down. Could not taste any alcohol in the drinks . The place is nostalgic. For a Spanish club and bar I was expecting better music . The music that was played was not high energy Spanish . No Elvis Crespo ? Really . Anyways overall for me it didn't live to the hype that I've seen online . Save your money and go to el rancho or babalous .
Lula Lounge is the quintessential Toronto institution for Latin American music and its extended culture. The embrace of the nations that comprise and neighbour the region are on display and it will provide a home for exploration of culture, food and people. Enjoy Lula, bring friends then make it a part of your routine for entertainment!
Really had a great night at Lula's with our team office party! The vibrant atmosphere was contagious and everyone was dancing in no time! Loved the Salsa lessons and the music! Food was great too but the bar service was a bit slow. Overall a fantastic night! Would highly recommend it!
The Samba night music was excellent, what a treat! Unfortuantely, the food ( a small, limited menu for that night) was disappointing and greasy
Have been here a few times. But this time our food was cold. One entree came out of the kitchen. When we said it wasn't warm, they took it back, brought us a new one, and it was not warm, again. Needless to say this was quite disconcerting. The service was good and cheerful, but we were really disappointed by our entrees.
Celebrated a birthday here with my group of girls, and we all had such a great time! The food was delicious, the music was lively, and the atmosphere was so uplifting without being overly crowded. We had a blast dancing especially with the teachers, who weren't shy about joining in! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.
The music is awesome, outstanding orchestra, great job boys, good service
Food mediocre, drinks expensive.
But that's not why 2 stars.
You come for a Cuban salsa night with a band that's have timba in their name. And you get 10% to 20% timba Cuban salsa.
Best music was in the Playlist during the food and the lesson, after that it is all down hill.
It's not 1 start since i guess it's more then anywhere else in the area.
But have no mistakes it is not a Cuban salsa night, and there is 0 timba.
Very disappointed.
Wow, this place is one of the most popular and amazing place to dance and have a night 🌙 with your friends, partner, alone with the music, etc. There is s great environment and so much live music with the best orchestras and musicians from all over Soth , central America, Cuban, Caribbean, Colombia, Mexico, etc. It is a place you must go lf you love dancing salsa, cumbia or other Latino music.

Overall great experience. They are very accommodating and provide great customer service. Food was good and ambience was great as well.
nice place and good food . the Jaz was great
An excellent concert by Nano Stern. The ambience and service of Lula Lounge was excellent. Neither one of us speaks Spanish and we were probably the only non-Chileans present but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The introductory act was excellent. A very good night all around.
Guaricha's Brew and Nan Stern were phenomenal! It was a sisters' night out, our 2nd time seeing Nano--but this time, really close! Our table was great. We lived in Chile as children, so hearing castellano on stage and all around us was electrifying. ¡Muchas gracias a todos!
I recently booked your restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday. I want to begin by sincerely thanking your team for a wonderful evening. The food was excellent, the atmosphere and music were fantastic, and the service from your waitstaff was truly commendable. It was shaping up to be a memorable night, and we were very pleased with the overall experience until an unfortunate incident that has since overshadowed our visit. After returning home, my sister discovered that a $100 bill was missing from her purse. During our time at the restaurant, we had decided to leave her purse in the coat room, in the care of a staff member, for safekeeping while we went to the dance floor. We chose to do so in good faith, trusting that it would be secure under the restaurant's supervision. Unfortunately, this trust was misplaced in this instance. We understand that accidents and misunderstandings can happen, but this situation has left us feeling disappointed and concerned. What was otherwise a joyful and positive experience has been tainted by this incident. We kindly ask that you look into this matter and review your current policy regarding the handling of guests' personal belongings. We also hope that you'll consider any appropriate steps to prevent such incidents in the future, as well as any actions that might help restore confidence in your commitment to customer care and satisfaction. We appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to hearing back from you regarding any updates.
