Tried the new Dubai Chocolate cookie and the overall taste is good but the kadayif filling is weird. The texture of the kadayif is not quite right, it's supposed to be very fine and crunchy but this one tastes almost like uncooked vermicelli/pasta, hard, brittle and unpleasant to chew. You can probably see the texture of the kadayif in this picture, maybe if they change the kadayif and use the right one from Middle East then this would be good. Otherwise, not worth the price for $9.50 each piece.
Other rice cakes are really good tho!
Very cute lil bakery for coffee evenings alone or with your partner. It was my furst time having korean desert so asked for recommendations from the server. She asked me fee questions and recommended me their matcha rice cookie. It was very tasty and filling. I had a takeout luckily as it took me 2 days to finish it as I am a slow cookie eater. It was tasty if you like a lil bitter taste of matcha, if not go for safer options of chocolate. They have wide variety to try new bakery korean items and nice seating arrangements upstairs too.

I ordered this on Uber Eats last week (or maybe the week before), and there was a hair in the bingsu.
The black sesame injeolmi was honestly really bad, and the price is overpriced.
You’re better off just buying injeolmi from a Korean grocery store — it’s much cheaper.
Finding a hair in the dessert was seriously shocking.

I love the different drinks they have, and the staff is friendly. Their bingsu and baked goods are all delicious and worth the cost. The only thing I would wish for is more comfortable seating upstairs - there’s one small table with two chairs and a larger table with chairs reserved for larger groups upstairs. The other tables are almost the same height as the benches up there - but high is not very comfortable if you are working on a computer. But I also remember a lot of smaller coffee shops in Korea having a similar setup and it is fine if you are just sitting there to drink coffee and meet up with friends to talk. It’s actually very cute and cozy upstairs - just maybe not the best place if you need to do computer work when those other tables are taken.
During the warmer weather, the patio out back is one of my favourite hangout locations in the neighbourhood

Came here because a friend recommended it, and I’m so glad I did! It’s a Korean-style bakery café and all the pastries looked amazing. There’s seating upstairs, though not a ton of space, but the overall vibe is really cozy and the desserts were delicious.
A fun surprise is that they also serve bingsoo (shaved ice), which is definitely worth trying!

If the owners/management aren’t there, the baristas don’t really acknowledge you if you’re not Korean. They say brightly to Korean customers “Ann-yeong-has so”! If you’re not Korean they’re silent and don’t really look at you.
These experiences cause me to question if I’m just not welcome in Korean cafes and they would prefer only Koreans going there.
Definitely don’t want to spend money at a place just to feel like the workers would prefer I’m not there.

I bought frozen rice cakes here as a holiday gift, but when I thawed them at room temperature for a day, more than half of them turned quite hard. It seems they may have been stored for too long or possibly thawed and refrozen at some point. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing frozen rice cakes here.

Very unique coffee shop with alot of rice cake options! Loved the injeolmi latte! Also tried the rice cake cookies and salt bread, they heated up the bread but it wasn't hot enough and the bottom had no crust :( tasted like a plain dinner roll. The cookies were interesting but very dense.

Good service
Tried soy latte and it was amazing. It is a small place but it is very inviting. They make bread and cookies inside the bakery. The staff was also very friendly.
Highly recommended if you are in the area.
