I visited for brunch with a friend with very high expectations. Overall the food was pretty good. I got the smoked trout mash and the dish was well cooked and very hearty. They were having a busy day but service was still quick. However they brought me a straw for my iced coffee but forgot to give one to my friend. My main issue was with how hot the restaurant was. We visited on a very hot afternoon and I understand that a lot of older buildings may not have air conditioning. Some floor fans would've been nice. We just wanted to finish eating quickly and leave.

Delicious meal of beautifully dressed mixed greens with prosciutto, and an abundance of shrimp, monkfish and mussels in a delicately seasoned broth and rice. Crisp and cold bottle of a very reasonably priced Alberino. All in the ivy-covered back patio. A perfect summer night out. Thank you.

Wow! Great service and amazing food and good pricing! What more do you want? Order the monkfish rice thingy, you won't be disappointed. It says good for 2, but it's plenty for 3.

This is a fantastic and underrated restaurant. Great wine list but not the usual wine program. Heavily Portuguese options but solid choices and not overpriced. The menu was excellent. The seafood was exquisite. The atmosphere was very casual and unpretentious. Would go back. This is a 5/5 restaurant imo

This place has raving reviews, but leaves much to be desired. For apps we got the shareable; shrimp and the goat cheese sausage spread. The shrimp was great, would recommend. The goat cheese had the texture of tofu, tasted bland, the beans tasted like they needed to be cooked and a whole bowl of olives that brought nothing to the dish. The sausage was really just ok. Nothing special. For mains we had the steak and the octopus. The steak was a cheap cut, we asked for medium rare but were served medium well, almost well actually. The octopus was rubbery and over cooked. Both main meals tasted over salted and mediocre, nothing was tying it together.
Both servers seemed to be unfamiliar with the menu and struggled to navigate the details.
The restaurant was mostly empty on a busy Saturday night in the Junction. We were seated in the back patio which has cute lights stringed across and makes you feel like you are in a back yard.
Considering the food, the experience and the pricing. While some dishes were acceptable majority were not. We left paying $200 and will not be back.

We had Anna as a waitress. What a friendly happy girl. If I return I would love to have her serve us again. Great location.
I had the aubergine with feta, beet salad, and the stew — all were absolutely amazing. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The service was also super friendly. But the real standout was the lemon cheesecake. I’ve had cheesecake at some of the most famous spots known for it, but nothing has come close to this one. It was very light and absolutely delicious. A must-try!
