Great sausage rolls and great chocolate chip oatmeal cookies! Made by hand and the service was lovely, by friendly folks who clearly love what they're doing. You have to pay for premium ingredients and the time it's made with care, so be forewarned it's not cheap, but it's worth it for a treat!

This location helped cater a baptism celebration for 80 people and it was so delicious. The large portions of pastries and cookies were able to be halved, really making the treats go far. The supervisor, Valerie, was so helpful in choosing a variety of their desserts to display that appealed to everyone. Amazing service

I came to pick up my too good to go bag and the staff literally threw the items on the table like I was asking for free stuff. When I asked for a bag, She then proceeded to lecture me on why they aren’t handing out bags, when in the app, they DIDNOT mention to bring your own bags like some stores do. When I told her that they hadn’t mentioned to bring a bag in the app, she just said how they were having some issue with that. I found that very offensive considering how she was literally lecturing me with a very rude undertone knowing that they had not mentioned the details. While the issue is really small, I didn’t appreciate her service.

I have a thing for their ginger cookies but the thing about Mabel’s is there is a great staff. I hope Mabel knows.

I’ve always walked by this bakery/cafe as I work in the area and I’ve been wanting to try it. I came in today (Oct19/24) at around 11am for an iced latte but didn’t have my heart set on any specific flavour, so I asked the barista what she recommends. She said ‘pumpkin, salted caramel, and vanilla with cinnamon’. I got my iced latte as a triple with these syrup inclusions and it came out to $7.05 WITH 20% tip. The little conversations I had with both baristas were lovely and the service was very fast. I would highly recommend!

They never really know how to make a good cup of coffee, bake goods are okay.
So…Today, I ordered a flat white. And coffee is supposed to make your day, but this one just destroyed my whole mood!
Reminds me why I should make my own coffee at home. So I asked them to make me a new one, they made me another terrible cup of coffee placed on a cup with a broken lid! Which I think was a personal attack to me by the barista. I think she wants me to drown for asking a new cup of expensive coffee

I'm not normally a real brownie lover, but now, twice I have popped in and bought their triple chocolate brownies. Maybe not traditional, but oh, so amazing! Really great! If you like dark chocolate or ganache, then you will be in love. Everything they have and do looks extra special. I highly recommend them. Lovely staff as well.

I generally don't like to leave negative reviews but I spent a decent amount on the apple pie that appeared to be fully cooked but when I went to eat it, the bottom crust was basically raw. The staff were very nice but I don't think I'll buy more baked goods from here.

I went in just prior to 4:30pm (it's 4:33pm currently) and was told they couldn't even toast a bagel for me because they were closing soon. Unless google hours are wrong, this location closes at 6pm today. I can absolutely understand if they were closing at 5pm, but not an hour and half later. Not my first bad interaction at this location. Will be my last visit for sure.

Response to response: There was no communication that anything could be heated up. It was simply stated that they were closing soon and the machines were shut off. I was told I could take the bagel home and that was it. Again, not my first negative interaction at this location. Went down the street to a Cafe closing at 5pm and was able to be served hot food.

Loveliest employees. Appreciate the vegan options. Coffee was great.

Something has gone very wrong at Mabel’s. The magic and the quaint sweetness is gone. Now it’s just insanely overpriced, tasteless, bland food that doesn’t even look good anymore. What happened? Bring back the original crew and fix this place.

Today I went to pick up some fresh buns. When I went to pay, the cashier offered me a cookie free of charge as they were closing shortly. I have never tried their cookies before, but I have to say the chocolate chip oatmeal was fantastic. I will definitely be purchasing in the future! On a bad day, this really put a smile on my face!

Delicious! The mouth watering selection of delectable treats is hard to pass up. Though we only tried a couple of treats, the bread selection looked awesome and will definitely consider them next time.
