Very rude cashier. The first and only time someone in food service has literally turned their back to me while I was speaking to them. I was politely complimenting the reasonable price of the bagels. It felt needlessly rude.

Their espresso is so good. And the peanut butter cookies and bars are unreal.

Hands down the BEST croissant I’ve had in Toronto.
Crispy on the outside, soft and slightly moist on the inside, with perfect layers and an incredible buttery aroma. The balance of texture and flavor is just chef’s kiss. You can taste the quality and care in every bite.
I wasn’t expecting much—but WOW. It blew both me and my husband away.
We looked at each other after the first bite and literally went: “Oh. My. God.”
Thank you, Mabel’s. I didn’t know how badly I needed a perfect croissant in my life until now.

I was at the bakery recently with a friend, sitting in the back enjoying some empanadas, when things got really uncomfortable. One of the staff members, a woman in a dress who seemed to be in charge… started yelling at another employee. It was loud enough that we both looked at each other, unsure of what was going on. The girl at the front noticed we were clearly uncomfortable and came to the back to quietly close the door. It felt like an attempt to remove us from the yelling, which we appreciated. The whole situation shouldn’t have happened, though. The food was good, but the atmosphere was completely thrown off. Hope the staff get treated better.

Great spot. Cream cheese bagels are wonderful, so fresh and the coffee is so rich in flavour.
4.66 Stars. Just ate the pretzel bun ($1.49) at home - warmed it up and added Kielbasa and old cheddar with mustard - it was good. Service was great, changed our selection and so lovely about it. Bought a couple vegan items to share with family and they look great. We considered cool drinks but they were a bit pricey. I would recommend going here for sure.

Had a delicious pain au chocolat aux amandes as well as a very nice latte that was well balanced and hit the spot.

Please bring back the beet and goat cheese salad.
Accommodating and friendly service
Friendly staff and great bread. I especially appreciate that they cut the bread for you. I don't know why but most bakeries in Toronto don't cut the bread. This for me is a great selling point, I don't mind walking a.bit more if they can cut the bread for me.

Love everything in the store
Since Covid and teaming up with Fresh City Farms the quality of their croissants has plummeted. The don’t have enough butter and are frequently overcooked and flaky, even first thing in the morning. Mass production for the chain has ruined the quality. Not recommended by this reviewer who spent years living in France and Montreal.
Been here a few times to pick up some sourdough bread. Always tastes good, and the staff seem friendly! Would recommend.
They sell stake baked goods at full price. My recommendation is to never go here!
I am pretty sure the sourdough I bought was baked days ago. It is not fresh.
