Fast service with ordering through QR code, which also lets you customize the salt, oil and noodles. I was full from a regular size bowl that came with rice on the side; usually a bowl of ramen from other places leaves me still hungry.
The broth is delicious and not too salty nor heavy.
I was in-and-out in less than half an hour.

Deliciousssssssss
Cannot believe finally they are open and it’s My hometown ramen shop! Broth is wonderful, noodles and toppings is good. Compared other ramen I’ve been, this place is tasty! Definitely come back but still busy even weekday. :(

Ramen is good. I tried both the original and the spicy. I personally preferred the original because I could really taste the chicken oil. The kara spicy wasn’t bad, but the spicy paste was overpowering, so I couldn’t really taste the broth or the chicken oil—just a salty, heavy miso flavor. Overall, I would still come back.

This is single-handedly the best ramen in Toronto. Would give 6 stars if I could’ve done that.

Tastes just like a good bowl of ramen should. The complimentary rice with their red pepper and garlic powder were was a delectable combo with the broth. The bowl tasted exactly like what you’d get from a ramen shop in Japan. If you love tonkatsu broth, you should def give this place a try.

This place is nice, they have a simple menu that is easy to understand. I got the spicy ramen and added a seasoned egg topping. It comes with rice and there’s directions on how to eat the rice displayed clearly on the table. The broth is thick, rich and flavorful. The pork was delicious and I have no complaints. On the table there was chili bean paste and garlic paste to dress up the rice, which I ended up dumping at the end into my extra broth for the ramen porridge experience. 10/10 would go again. It was worth the wait outside in the cold. I got there after 6 on sunday and there were less than 10 people in line ahead of me and it took maybe 15 minutes to get in. Just the night before at 7 on Saturday there was a line around the building which I would expect to probably take an hour, so be careful and know how long you might be willing to wait

We ordered Chasu(Pork) and Negi (Leeks) Ramen Bowls for lunch were delicious, but service needs to be on the ball, specially if you are sitting in those single chairs. They forget to check on those customers from time to time. Washrooms are spacious and clean.

Restaurantji Recommends
One of the best Ramen shop in town. The broth was very rich and noodle is perfect chewiness and the chashu is extremely tender. The addition of a bowl of rice for every bowl of ramen to soak up the ramen broth was beyond epic. My three years old couldn’t have enough of the rice + broth combo. She also enjoyed the crispy chicken appetizer. Alot of detail and thoughts went into the interior design and decoration. For $15 you get a bowl of rice + ramen. What a steal.

Everyone was super friendly! They saw we were waiting for a while to enter before they opened, and offered us some hot tea. The area is clean, warm, and the atmosphere was lively. The max ramen was sooo filling and wonderful for the cold weather we've been having. The space is more counter-seating friendly so I would recommend coming in pairs rather than a large group. Excited to come again!

Hearty and delicious food + warm and welcoming atmosphere = we will be returning soon ❤️
My husband and I both ordered the Max and shared an order of karaage. They were both tasty. Karaage was some of the best I’ve had in Toronto: juicy, tender and lightly crispy. The ramen was rich and flavourful. The real kicker here were their side condiments (chili paste, garlic paste and pickled cucumbers) which perfectly complement the rice and provide a nice, refreshing contrast to the oiliness of the ramen broth. It was a perfect meal for our cold night out!
The service was friendly and attentive, not overbearing in a way that feels forced and uncomfortable. It was a pleasant experience for sure and I have a feeling this will become our go-to spot for ramen.

Came here during the soft launch with limited operating hours. There was a line outside and I almost missed the cut-off for lunch - thank you to the kind staff for squeezing me in!
Since I wanted to try the best the place had to offer, I ordered the max ramen that comes with extra char shu slices, a ramen egg and more seaweed pieces. It also comes with an optional bowl of rice for you to eat it with the broth at the end of the meal.
This wasn't my first time eating Yokohama iekei style ramen, but it's definitely the best one I can remember. I loved how rich the broth was without feeling too heavy. If you've ever wanted a lighter version of tonkotsu ramen, iekei is your answer. The blend of tonkatsu and chicken shoyu hits the right spot for me.
Portion-wise, I was very full at the end of my meal. This was in stark contrast to other ramen places here that like to skimp on ingredients with a smaller bowl and smaller slices of pork. Not here at Machida - the pork slices are HUGE. I couldn't even finish my rice at the end.
The staff was incredibly welcoming and the store manager showed walked me out to the door when I left, something that I would never expect at a ramen shop. Thank you for your hospitality and such delicious ramen on a cold winter day.
🤤 Cozy noodle place. The broth is thick. And the portion is real large. The portion of the noodle itself is already much more than other ramen places; not to mentioned all noodles come with a bowl of rice 🍚 🥹🥹
Strongly recommend to try ☺️☺️
