Absolutely love this bakery! We purchased the gingerbread house kit last year and it was a hit so we were sure to return this holiday season for more treats. My son LOVES their gingerbread in all the fun designs. The folks there are always so kind and welcoming. We will be back to sample more of their menu throughout the year
What an absolute gem of a place! The moment you walk in, it feels completely magical. I ordered a few dozen treats for a client’s holiday event, and they were a massive hit. Everyone was raving about them. The designs were adorable, almost too cute to eat.
I tried a couple of samples myself, and wow - they’re not just pretty, they’re unbelievably delicious. Perfect texture, great flavor, total crowd pleasers.

The best bakeries know how to not only accentuate taste but also smell, and Mad Batter absolutely delivers on that part.
I dropped by and got their gingerbread cookies and lemon crisp cookies. While I would have wanted them to be just a tad softer and chewier, I appreciated the strong flavours and how they weren't overly sweet. Also notably, I loved how strong the smell of molasses and lemon came through in each cookie and with each bite. This isn't always the case with many cookies, so thought that really added to the whole experience.
Bonus points for the small county bakery charm of the place, and the friendly and welcoming people.

My boyfriend and I stopped in the other day and the lady behind the counter was so kind! I’m a sucker for sweets and cookies so we ended up with three pumpkin cookies (2 sugar and 1 ginger) and a gingerbread turkey. AND THEY WERE DELICIOUS! I had a great experience today at Mad Batter Bakers in large part due to Alisha who made my day. The mouth-watering aroma of their delicious gingerbread batter welcomes you at the door of this very cute, inviting space. ended up getting a cute, and I’m sure yummy, unicorn cookie for my granddaughter and a container of their crisp lemon cookies for the adults. When I mentioned that I hadn’t been in the shop for at least a decade when I would come to buy my dog special treat biscuits from them, Alisha gave me a gingerbread cookie to welcome me back. Her kindness was much appreciated after having a terrible experience earlier in the day at another business. Regardless, I will return to support a longstanding local business who delivers a great product and appreciates its customers. Thank you MBB.

Our local produce store carries these cookies on a continual basis. These are my go to for party favors, stocking stuffers and any other occasion. They are fresh, delicious and beautiful even though we are an 8 hour drive from the bakery where they are made. Gingerbread is my favorite.
