They have seats to wait inside that empty but there is a long line where we waited over 40mins in 30 degree weather to end up being placed in a shared table. They said also 15 mins and but it ended up 40mins

They need to start taking reservations

We’ve been meaning to come here for so long, and it did not disappoint us at all. Amazing food and even more amazing service! Özge took care of us and she was so very kind in giving us great options, even considering my companion’s food restriction. We got the Cairo Classic, the Maha’s mind blowing chicken, hazelnut and honey/cardamom coffee - all outstanding!

Such a homey, cozy spot with food that makes you smile even after you've left. Its been a few days since I went to Mahas and Im still thinking about it. We ordered the Lentil soup, the Mahas chicken and Falafel. Also had the special latte to defrost our bones. Everything was amazing! I really, really loved the soup and it was perfect for a snowy day.
We waited for 30mins on a weekend and found a parking spot close by. The hosts were lovely, answered my questions and helped me with the menu. All in all 10/10 spot.
I look forward to coming back soon!

Holy smokes! The atmosphere and food was authentically Egyptian but with a beautiful twist! The mind blowing chicken sandwich was indeed mind blowing and extremely tasty! The cheese pull on the date drilled cheese was the best I ever had and it was super satisfying. Last but not least the cardamom latte was super delicious and creamy and the perfect level of sweetness! My husband has been raving about this place for 5 years and it undoubtedly exceeded my expectations and I will most definitely be back whenever I’m in town!

No reservations and it's a foodies destination = long lines and a wait. We were lucky enough to be walking by just as they opened with almost no wait so to took the opportunity and were rewarded with a beautiful bunch experience. I can see what it's popular with nothing else like it around. Plenty of great services, beautiful busy decore, but the food is where it's at.

Love this place their food is super fresh and delicious, have been going there for 11 years and the quality service and ambiance is still as excellent and superb as when they opened. The chicken sandwich is my absolute favourite, have never tasted anything as memorable as this, but that doesn’t mean that the other dishes are superb. Their Maha’s latte is excellent not to mention the rice putting. Thank you Monica 💖

Absolutely incredible brunch at Maha’s !
This was hands-down one of the best brunch experiences I’ve had in the city. The food is bursting with authentic Egyptian flavours. We tried the Cairo Classic and the Basturma Scramble and both dishes were truly phenomenal. The fresh, warm pita and the little sides of pickled veggies were perfect.

And the drinks… wow. The lattes were amazing, especially the Hazelnut with the chocolate dipped rim !

The atmosphere is cozy, and full of character with all the artwork, decor, and plants. It feels like eating in a warm, welcoming home. The staff were friendly and added to the warm experience. No wonder this place has some of the best reviews in the city.

If you haven’t been to Maha’s yet, GO. It’s absolutely worth the wait. One of Toronto’s true gems! 💛🇪🇬

Huge thanks to Chef Monika and all the staff at the restaurant! We ordered more dishes than we could finish because we wanted to try as many as possible — Maha’s Mind Blowing Chicken, falafel, sunny eggs and foole, plus a delicious daily-special baked dessert.

The warm welcome, amazing food, and thoughtful recommendations made the whole experience unforgettable.

This will definitely be our regular go-to spot every time we visit Toronto. Next time, we’re planning to come every morning for brunch so we can try the rest of the menu!

Easily my favorite brunch spot in Toronto! The service and space is amazing and so homey, and the food is absolutely insane! The Cairo Classic is a must and the beans were so flavorful and delicious. I also really liked the banana milk which was so banana-forward and creamy. Worth the wait!!!!

Maha’s brunch has been my favourite brunch spot in the city so far. The Egyptian brunch is absolutely delicious. We shared a few dishes between the three of us, and my favourite was the appetizer platter. Every dip was incredibly flavourful with the pita. I also loved Maha’s Mind Blowing Chicken, and their lattes were delicious too. We went during brunch time on a random weekday and only waited about 10-15 minutes. I imagine the wait is much longer on weekends, but it’s honestly worth it.
