One of my very favourite cafes I’ve ever been to! The food and drinks are absolutely delicious and the space (inside or patio) is always so welcoming!

Lovely comfy cafe with delish light bites. Was a perfect spot for me to enjoy a good coffee and falafel egg while needing to kill an hr, altho they do not allow u to have a laptop out. Also, found it lovely that it was connected to a beautiful boutique store at the other end, Kton.

What a beautiful place with great food!
It was a bit hard to find something dairy free to eat but the staff were super nice and helpful and we really enjoyed it!

I forgot when did I saved this Egyptian cafe with style and pizazz, but i was around the neighbourhood the other day and I just paid a visit. Tucked away behind a clothing store, this cafe is nice and quiet on the day that we got there.
We ordered Hazelnut Latte and Cardamom Latte and the coffee is fine and good, i love how punchy the cardamom is in the coffee, which really add an interesting accent to the drink.
I also ordered the betengen, which I didn’t know it was a sandwich but it was so good that I couldn’t stop taking bites after bites. The bread was made from something that doesn’t taste like normal gluteny bread, but crunchy and crumbly like a cookie, while the beets add a firm texture that fight against your bite, with the eggplant really tying everything together that both act like a nourishment and a mediator. The hummus is smooth but I just wish that there’s a little more of it.
The whole place is decorated nice and cozy and it is a nice place to spend time in. There’s a lot of thoughts put into the tiny things around and it just feels welcoming and homely when you walk in. Will go again to spend more time there if im ever around the area.

I love this cafe. The drinks are the best espresso drinks in the Leslieville neighbourhood. Their special lattes are really worth a try. I love the honey cardomom and the hazelnut latte. They also make an excellent hot chocolate. The staff is always super friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. I have also tried the falafel balls and the honey-date grilled cheese and they were both delicious.

I’m really sad to be giving such a low rating because I’ve been a supporter of Maha’s for many years but my experience today was so disappointing.
My husband was hungry and we were in the area and I suggested Maha’s because I was expecting good quality food. He ordered a roast beef sandwich and this is what he got. Dry, not toasted, nothing on it but mustard and everything was cold. Honestly this wouldn’t have even been that big of a problem if it weren’t $17! And we waited 30 mins for it! I’m just so disappointed.

Great location (enter through the back), good food, and SUCH excellent service. If you’re looking for a local cafe where the servers treat you like family, you must visit! They have good wifi connection for a remote-work session, and many seating options.

We’re charging more than $10 for half a falafel sandwich that’s super mediocre... really?

Cute little sister cafe and the cardamom latte and falafels for a snack really hit the spot today. Thank you.
