what a fun and lively speakeasy themed bar! they have a well curated food and drink menu. i came during the “club” hours so the menu is different than during the day. i got the curly fries & salad. both were great as a snake. meant for one person. i also got the coconut mojito and sour drop shots. prices were reasonable. the DJ that plays here was amazing & got the vibe of the crowd. the atmosphere was great & so were the bartenders! i’d definitely come again!

i mean it’s got a cool entrance but i wouldn’t say it’s much of a speakeasy. However that doesn’t at all take away from the really cool vibe you get in this place. they have great cocktails and good food too.

Cool bar. Looks like there is a live DJ that plays at night but we made an early reso. Got some food to nibble on such as the duck bao and calamari. The duck bao was really good and crispy! Delicious flavours. I'd definitely come back to try the other drinks!

I've been here quite a few times now over the years, and have always had a good time. I'm not sure if Mahjong considers itself a speakeasy, but there's not too much of a ritual or any passwords or anything to getting in at the front. They ask you right away if you have a reservation to get in.
The space in the back is a nice vibe. I like the checkered floors, dim warm lighting, and decor in general. Definitely, the place is more enjoyable when it's later at night and busier with people.
Their drinks are alright. Had the Peach Bonfire, which was a nice mix of a bit of sweet and some spice. The fuzzy peach garnish though was stale. Also tried the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, which was pretty liquor forward for me. Wish it was more balanced/ nuanced. It can be expensive - it was $50 for those two drinks, all in.
