I used to go to this location religiously for a good 3-4 years until it swapped to new management around the beginning of the pandemic. I stopped because they had changed the recipe for the j*** chicken and it just wasn't the same.Not sure what they did recently but they have brought back the old recipe and the chicken tastes fantastic again.The staff are also great. Gonna be honest- this place kinda made my day.I was having a bit of a slow morning, but the staff were so friendly and full of positive energy that it immediately lifted my spirits.And the food... that first bite was like magic. I've had plenty of Carribean all over Toronto, but this might be my favorite spot now. The passionfruit juice was refreshing, the coleslaw was crunchy, the chicken was tender and flavorful, but the rice and beans surprisingly stole the show.Definitely...
The flavor of the goat curry roti was good, however it stated in the description that the goat meat is de-boned. There was definitely bones in my roti which absolutely turned off my appetite.
