My girlfriend and I had our first there and we have been going there every month for almost 2 years now. We were always blown away by how amazing everything was, nothing was even close to average. However, this time, for some reason, it was very different. We ordered 2 starters that were always great, and they bad and poorly executed. the beef bourguignon is our go to and this time, it was dry and with almost no vegetables. Also, we had a reservation and, even though we got there on time, we still had to wait 20 min to be sat on a table 2cm away from another couple - if you don’t have the capacity to accommodate that many people, just don’t. It was really disappointing, specially because it’s almost one of our favourite restaurants. I believe they do deserve a second chance but no idea what happened, if they changed the cookers or are under new management.

My favourite place of all times❤️ Olga is the one I love the most, she’s the most professional server I’ve ever met🫶🏻

The charming, chic and cozy atmosphere at Maison Selby is exquisite. My server was a pleasure. Dishes are presented beautifully. However, the flavour fell short, especially for the price. French onion soup was decent. Escargot was delicious. Beef bourguignon was tasty, but not as tender and somewhat dry. Steak frites lacked seasoning and the jus tasted just okay. At least dinner ended on a good note with the sticky toffee pudding. Overall, I think if the flavours matched the aesthetic this could easily be a 5-star restaurant.

The atmosphere gets crazy hectic, loud, and cramped at peak hours. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. The French onion soup and escargot were both delicious and the meal’s highlights.
The only disappointment was the steak frites. I ordered the filet medium rare, but it came out medium, and the fries were lacking seasoning.

Had a lovely brunch for my dad’s birthday here today! 🥂 Delicious food and drinks!
A couple minor hiccups with our order but they accompanied the issues very well and it did not at all take away from our overall experience 🙏🏼🎉

Delicious French cuisine in a high class atmosphere.
Service was amazingly quick and all the staff were very friendly. The Crème Brûlée is amongst the best I've had anywhere in the world!

Booked a table for two for a friend's birthday. The room is always pretty with a cozy, aesthetic vibe, but the main dining area was extremely loud — tough for conversation. The food was fantastic: the steak frites, the salmon, and the sticky toffee pudding were all spot-on. Our server let us know drinks would take about 15 minutes because the bar was slammed, and they arrived at the 15 min mark, but overall the service was just okay. The birthday note on the reservation was completely missed — no candle, no acknowledgment. Great food, inconsistent service. With limited options in the neighborhood, I'll return, but there's definitely room to level up the experience.
the side salad was oh so fresh.. crunchy and excellent dressing. Generous portion. Loved it! Moules and their sauce exquisite.
The venue is quite nice and everything was fine. However, the brunch menu was pedestrian and some dishes were delivered to the table not as described on the menu (e.g. missing ingredients and/or substitutions). And, as is the case everywhere these days the prices were high ($21 for what was basically bacon and eggs?).
Recently, my wife and I had dinner at this restaurant, and I was genuinely impressed by both the service and the quality of the cuisine. We initially stopped by for a light bite, but the evening turned into a full-fledged culinary experience.
I would especially like to highlight the exceptional friendliness of the staff. Our server was impeccable: attentive, discreet, and highly knowledgeable about the menu. The manager was equally pleasant, creating a sense that every guest is truly valued.
The atmosphere is remarkably cozy, offering a calm and comfortable setting perfect for an unhurried evening and effortless conversation. A particular delight was the restaurant’s signature oyster dressing. It features a delicate touch of heat that beautifully enhances the dish. For me, it was one of the culinary highlights of the night.
I will be happy to return here again with my wife. And certainly more than once.

I came to Maison Selby for a birthday celebration. Party of 8. The food was excellent, service was excellent. The lovely mansion has been restored in a tasteful and appropriate manner for a french theme. Everything was great. I wish we could have spent an extra hour. We felt a bit rushed but perhaps that was because we were a larger group. Aside from that I would highly recommend and I will return. It was a lovely evening!
Early supper on a Saturday night. Superb, attentive— but discreet — service. Interesting, diverse patrons. Knowledgeable, considerate staff. Consistent quality, skilled kitchen. Cocktails for the cognoscenti.
Enjoyed Saturday brunch at Maison Selby with a couple of friends. Food was top notch. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Atmosphere is one of calm elegance. Will definitely be back.
One of our fave places. Always so good and such a nice place. Just a wonderful restaurant.
