Maison T is one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto and it remains a special spot in my heart. The service we got was very welcoming and friendly. Food is simply incredible and it lighted up my day. The place is not big but it is very clean the atmosphere was relaxing. I enjoyed my birthday dinner there and would always remember this wonderful place with its kind staff. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

This was a lovely place to have a date. The food/menu is very well thought out. But the thing that stood out to me most was their non-alcoholic cocktails. A lot of places in the city provide non-alcoholic versions of alcoholic beverages but what they offer beautifully crafted non-alcoholic originals.

The food at this little restaurant at the corner of Dupont and Shaw is exquisite and delicious. Their plate presentation is gorgeous and the quality of the dishes very high. The service is personal and very friendly.
I've only given them a 3 star review because they have a two hour seating policy which ruined what was a relaxing experience. Our entrees took some time to arrive, and after finishing them, we were invited to have dessert. However before we had even finished eating our dessert, we were told that our 2 hour seating had run out. We were asked to pay and leave because the next diners for our table had arrived.
It's too bad because it's a great little place. If you're looking for a relaxing, longer dining experience don't go here.

I've been interested in Maison T for a while. You can enjoy Japanese French prepared by Tamaru Masayuki, a Japanese who has been studying French for 40 years. Is it rare in Toronto? A restaurant where you can enjoy casual French cuisine!
The store had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the cheerful wife welcomed us warmly. We had Hokkaido Scallops and Onion soup for Appetizers, Duck confit for main, and Cod fish from the special menu. All of the dishes were made with fresh meat, fish, and vegetables, and were very delicious. In particular, the duck confit was served with daikon radish as a side veggie, which gave it a Japanese touch. The wine selection was also good and went well with the food. The staff at the restaurant were also very friendly, explained the dishes to us, and took good care of our table, so we had a very comfortable dinner time. This is a restaurant that I would recommend to many people, including Japanese people living in Toronto. I would like to visit again soon.

Had the most delicious meal tonight. The food was exquisite and the service (Jamie) was so delightful and great at what he does. Carolina runs an amazing restaurant and I can’t recommend this place enough.

Lovely dining experience! The staff were so welcoming and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious and very fresh. Small details like splitting the salad on two plates to make sharing between two people was a nice touch. We will definitely come back again.

Staff was being very welcoming, however at the end we felt rush to leave after almost two hours. Foods were decent but not ‘wow I need to come back again’ for that price point. We spent about $100 /person but didn’t feel like it was worth.

Great food, cozy and warm vibe, excellent service from Jamie, and so nice to get the owner and the chef to say bye at the end of a very beautiful night. Very honest prices too. Definitely recommended!

I found this gem on Google Maps by searching for French restaurants in the area. What drew me to this place was it had the highest rating and the menu was actually affordable. I was NOT disappointed. I also loved the idea of French cooking with a Japanese flair. I’ll start from the beginning and work my way through the night.
We entered a busy restaurant and the only
two remaining seats left were the ones reserved at the bar for myself and my mom. We were greeted by Carolina (the manager) and she offered to take our jackets which was really nice. We sat at the bar and within a minute our bartender / server (didn’t catch name) greeted us and offered us some water. His service throughout the night was very good and attentive.
Within a few minutes we were offered to hear the specials. Shortly later we ordered our starters and main courses.
The starters took approximately 20 minutes to come. I took this as a good sign as it was clear everything was being made fresh. We had the scallops and the endive salad. Both were fantastic. But the scallops won. They were immaculate.
Our plates were cleared and we were given fresh cutlery which I thought was a nice touch. The mains came within about 10 minutes of our starters being cleared. We ordered the duck confit and one of the specials, seared tuna with some sort of red wine reduction. Both were fantastic. Although again I think my duck confit took the cake. But both were bloody brilliant.
Lastly, we ordered dessert which was the chocolate mousse. Unreal!!!
Everything from beginning to end based on service, ambience and food was brilliant. The restaurant was also packed. 31 seats available and 30 of them were taken. I’d also like to mention that they had non alcoholic options available which was much appreciated as I’m trying not to drink. So non alcoholic beer and mocktails was greatly appreciated.
Finally, on the way out, I had a quick chat with Carolina as she brought our jackets out. Lovely lady and this is when I found out it is a family run restaurant. Well done to this family for creating such a gem.
I would highly recommend this restaurant and would easily place this within my top 3 favorite restaurants in Toronto.

Incredible experience that left me and my party astonished by the end of our meal. Food was nothing short of masterful and I can confidently recommend every item on the menu. Ambiance and service was exceptional and clearly reflects the values and hospitality of the ownership.
An absolute must stop for incredible French food without the exorbitant prices and snobbishness. 10/10

1. bee the tea: really enjoy this cocktail. Light, refreshing, and adjustable sweetness
2. Short rib: a little bit over cooked for me. A bit unfortunate the service didn’t ask how I like it.
3. Lamb: a bit gamey, overall quality is still good.
4. Chicken garage: my favourite of the night. With the super saucy texture but very unique and amazing.
