Loved it here! Super retro vibe, decor was grungy and cool. They had a retro sound system and neon piping everywhere. Also open 6am-7pm daily which is great. I was allowed to camp out with my laptop for a bit as well, which was a bonus! Only cons were that my matcha was a little expensive and not outstanding in any way, and the light is somewhat dim because it’s tucked behind buildings on Bathurst. I recognize that there’s nothing they can do about that though. They also do shared tables but I was cool with that. Also fully locally owned!! Staff were very nice and friendly.

The cappuccino was really good, and my butter croissant was fresh and delicious. The place itself is cute, with a nice design and both tables and bar seating available, though it can get busy. The only downside is that it’s a bit noisy. The music was louder than I’d like for a morning coffee. It feels more like a cozy bar than a calm café. Still, I really enjoyed the taste of my drink and pastry, and the staff were quick and friendly.

Best coffee shop vibe in the whole city, hands down! I always get their flat white, which are fantastic. They have rotating local art on the walls, and Gifu is always a nice touch. And best of all…. They’re open at 7:00 am which is ideal for early risers
